I tried to switch to a broadband deal that was offering a £75 prepaid card as a sign-up reward. For some reason, my order failed to go through, so I tried again, and again it didn't work. After chasing the provider repeatedly and getting nowhere, I gave up and went with a package from a different firm. But a couple of months later I was sent the £75 prepaid card anyway... twice! Should I see it as 'compensation' for the firm's poor service, or am I obligated to contact them given it's a reward for taking their broadband, which I didn't.

Keep it. After a long battle with a broadband/tv supplier I ended up with the box, but no contract. So I sold the box. No repercussions at all.0

Same happened to me. I cut it up. Keeping it seemed like theft to me.1

Yes you absolutely should keep the prepaid cards. It’s a corporate company0

Destroy or return it as you will be liable for the cost and will have to refund the money either with or without going to court and going through court will cost you the courts fees plus the money you have to repay back plus you may be liable for their court fees0

Personally, I would keep the cards as it was their mistake for sending them, but be prepaid to pay them back if they request it in the future.0
