Yeh, the offer doesn't show there for us yet, but it does show in "Rewards" at the bottom of your homepage. you should see "1 new offer" there?

Clicking that, and then through does a bunch of setup and then sends you over to the App Store to download the Nutmeg app. When you first open the nutmeg app after going through that "transfer" process in Chase, it automatically knows most of your details, and starts by asking you to set password but knowing your email address automatically.

Not sure if this a quirk of the iOS integration being a bit behind android (we can signup, but not view accounts yet in Chase) - but we also can't easily fund from Chase, so I had to fund via. my chase debit card but I can't see any rules about that.

It is a bit weird Chase aren't part of their preferred "easy bank transfer" system because they don't support Open Banking yet!
Debit card was the method I used, didn't see any easier option available. According to the terms, there isn't actually a requirement to fund from Chase or use it as the linked account, although that's what I did as it seemed better in case of cashback issues that I have a clear trail of evidence within Chase that I completed each of the criteria.

Sounds like it really is a phased rollout, then.

Nope, not for me. I just have the 1% cashback [until end of the month] and the 5% round-up gimmick.

Yep, it's always been a phased rollout, They probably learnt from the disastrous pile-up their uncontrolled refer-a-friend offer did cause. Now they have made a 180 degree turn to super cautious control of Nutmeg signups. Sooner or later they will learn that the Nutmeg sign up attracts a lot less interest than the refer-a-friend one, and we'll all have access before long, Chase might even offer more than a £100 Nutmeg joining bribe as the new tax / ISA year draws closer.....mark my words.

Ahh, sorry about that! It appeared for me with the app update tonight, so I assumed it was just for anyone updated.

My welcome email with the text "As you've registered through Chase" arrived 45 minutes after my first secure message, so looks like I'm all good!
  • I havent got the 100 pounds Nutmeg offer yet but my mother got it showing on her Chase app. She was showing it to ask me what this offer was abount which is ironic as investing and scams is pretty much the same thing in her mind. :)

Hmm. Clicked the links, eventually got Nutmeg at Play Store, installed, opened, & got black screen. Again and again....

Eventually got to Nutmeg app after trying direct then via Chase offer tab and went to fund.

As said previously, no option to fund by DD on Chase account or Saver by DD (1-3 business days).

Payment by Chase debit card (3-5 business days) failed with no authentication prompt, yes the money was in the Chase main account. "Please contact your card provider".

Third option to pay by debit card via Google Pay using debit card previously added there (also 3-5 days). CBA for now...

Update. Just tried Nutmeg app again and it had forgotten the biometric log-in I set up previously and even my user name and password, so I had to do all that again.

Have registered complaints with Chase and Nutmeg.

I just scrolled to the bottom and selected manual transfer or whatever it was, then you are given a sort code and acc number with unique customer ref number to add as a payee. Was then all done within a minute or two from the Chase app, and showed up as funded in Nutmeg a slightly worrying while later.

At least one out of four funding methods works then! 🤣
