Looking at the t&c’s. Am I right in thinking that I can:

    1. Deposit £1000 but only invest £500 into a GIA?

    2. Wait to deposit until early April?

Not wanting to keep the investment after receiving the bonus, so just looking at reducing risk.

Is this offer targeted, as I can see the nutmeg promo in the app but no mention of a £100 anywhere.

It was the same for me a couple of days ago (could see Nutmeg in Save & Invest, but no £100 offer). The £100 offer appeared for me in the Rewards section of the app yesterday afternoon and required activation. I used the link in the activated offer and did not use the sign up page from Save & Invest, which doesn't mention the cashback. Whether those who apply without receiving/activating the offer will qualify I don't know, but I didn't want to risk it.
Started signup yesterday but didn't complete. Reading this thread made me think that an application via an activated reward would be far more likely to yield the bonus.

Tried to clear down my partial application. Online chat says the request must be made by email (rather than chat on secure app ??) and will take a couple of days. I've literally cut'n'pasted the chat into an email to them.

You need a minimum of £500 in the GIA to open one with Nutmeg, but you need to invest £1000 for the £100 bonus is how I understood it.

Yeah, looks like I need to invest the £1000 initially. Terms state I need to keep the minimum £500 invested, so could presumably sell half the investment immediately.

What happens if the value of the £500 worth of investments falls, such that they are worth less than £500, during any part of the offer period?

I guess if the value falls more than 20% from April to end of June (negating the bonus), I’ll take the chance to add to my other investments at a discount.

I think you missed the point I was making. Will you qualify for the bonus if you start with just £500 invested and your Nutmeg account falls in value below this minimum stated in the terms?

and an email confirming I signed up via Chase, that I will be eligible for the cashback (speaking as someone who missed out on some Amazon cashback for an order I placed before activating that offer in the app).
This bit interests me most, because I didn't get that email as far as I can tell! Did it come after you funded @masonic?

(Offer now live on iOS btw!)

It was an email titled "Welcome to Nutmeg" beginning "Your account is set up and ready, for whenever you decide to start your investment journey. As you've registered through Chase..."
I received it about 20 minutes after completing my application. It would have been after I set up my pot and had been through the suitability questionnaire (they'd already sent me a couple of secure messages about this before the email arrived).

Ah cheers. I got those 2 secure messages about stuff - but no welcome email yet. Hopefully that'll come in a bit, cheers.

Not sure if this a quirk of the iOS integration being a bit behind android (we can signup, but not view accounts yet in Chase) - but we also can't easily fund from Chase, so I had to fund via. my chase debit card but I can't see any rules about that.

It is a bit weird Chase aren't part of their preferred "easy bank transfer" system because they don't support Open Banking yet!
