Yes, no problem except a brief glitch with partial transfer in from my existing Virgin ISA

Likewise...got the error message that suggested it didn't process but based on others experiences I left it for a few days and 3 days later it went through late on Friday afternoon.

Well I'm still waiting after 3 weeks and several VM CS messages that say nothing they can do - 'message the switching team for call back'.
Done that... and No call back yet.

Thanks for the info. Went for it and all set up fine.
Regarding ISA limits I have not used my ISA  allowance this year so have used it using this today. Does this mean after April 2023 can I open another ISA as well ?

Yes, you can fund an ISA with new money on or after 6th April .

The Virgin Money 1 year fixed ISA with the current account looks good and I am tempted to go for it. Its the horror reviews that put me off. Anyone gone for it ?
Yes. I applied Thursday. Quite straightforward to do. The ISA was set up immediately, but like many others when I tried to set up the transfer of my VM Flexi ISA I received an error message: 'Something's gone wrong at our end and we can't complete this transfer'.

I was advised by another poster here that it would probably sort itself out, and yes, this morning I received confirmation that my ISA transfer has completed. All in all quite happy.

Which one are you talking about the one paying 4.25% requires you to have a Virgin Current account,
Or  the one paying 4% which is open to all

I found with some banks it same's impossible to actually get to talk to the switching team

Is this about the internal transfer glitch

I opened the virgin current account and then ISA 4.25
  • I folded and went for the Virgin 4.25% fixed as well. Took 5 minutes to open the current account but did initially get an error opening the ISA asking me to call or go into a branch! It worked fine about half an hour later  :)
