For what reason? They may decline to discuss anything with you anyway because the contract is with whoever has paid them. 

And give the previous issues with the care home getting stuck in the middle, they probably just want to be well out of it.

Is this about wanting to be involved in your mum’s funeral arrangements when the time comes? Because if so, I’m not sure challenging the deputyship is going to make a lot of difference. 

Is there no-one who could mediate between you and your sister?
