Deputyship is insolvent

Deputyship involves a great deal more scrutiny than a LPA and deputies have to provide annual reports to the OPG on the decisions they have made. Being under an IVA or even bankrupt does not automatically disqualify someone from being granted deputyship but it does have to be declared on the application. Most people with financial issues are not dishonest so there is no blanket ban on them being a deputyIf you have reason to believe she failed to declare her financial situation on the application you can raise you concern with the OPG, who will act if she failed to do so.1

With quotes I cannot type beneath them

That happens if you go into the quoted box first. You need to make sure you’re outside of the grey box before you start typing,
It’s not the most user friendly in that respect. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

If your mother has passed away then the deputyship no longer applies. It ceases on death.
And I am sorry if your mum has died. It’s a hard time for everyone. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
