    Hi all,

Thanks for the pointers re. filing my defence. I've now finally received the Claimant's N180 form.

Am I right in thinking that I should shortly receive my own form to complete from the CCBC?

Having completed this and sent it to the CCBC & Claimant, when is the court hearing likely to be? Is there anything else to work on/complete in the interim?

    Cheers.

That checklist you were following when you filed a Defence includes...
Looks like items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are now due another read.

Any hearing is some months away.

I am surprised by your last question.
You appear to have completely overlooked the creation of a Witness Statement and the gathering of evidence. Is that not mentioned in the NEWBIES thread?

    Hi all,

I still haven't received my own N180 form to complete. Should I be concerned?

    No.

If you click on and skim-read any other claim threads ahead of you (we have hundreds and you will learn good info from them if you just browse the forum every week at least) you'll find out how long it's currently taking (about 2 months).

Only if your MCOL Claim History indicates that you should've received it by now.
    Does it?

DCBL have emailed me with an offer to settle the claim - assume I can ignore this?

Yes, or tell them to stop faffing about and to bring on the inevitable discontinuance.  I prefer the robust 'get lost' attack approach to worthless money-grabbers.

    Hi,

MCOL has been updated per the below, but I still haven't received a N180 form to complete:

    Is this normal?
