I'm after some advice
I signed up with Shell Broadband as they had a £100 Amazon voucher deal which I was told you'd get sent automatically after a certain amount of time
I received an email saying ' thanks for registering for the reward' and asking to click the link to go onto another 3rd party website
to make sure ' you don't miss out'
The link didnt go to the website , so On calling amazon , I was told it would be sent automatically .
That time has now passed and nothing has transpired .. I have called Amazon several times and have been told to contact the 3rd party.
I have left several message with the 3rd party ' Decision Technology' as no one answers the phone and as you can guess, I ve heard nothing back!
The £100 voucher made it a good deal and the only reason I signed up , so I'm feeling a little miffed to say the least as my contract is with Shell and it was sold to the customer that the voucher would be yours, if you signed up with Shell
Is there anything I can do and has any one else had any issues with them?
Yours hoping

I have exactly the same problem at the moment. The deal was advertised on the MSE website because it's where I found it and signed up to it. It's been about 4 months and I've not heard anything about the voucher since.

I don't know if they're just running late with getting the vouchers out, but our Amazon voucher finally arrived a few days ago. It was more than a month overdue, so hopefully everyone else on this thread will get theirs eventually.1

JoannaThat is why I would never take up a deal that offers Amazon vouchers, or a pre-paid card, the number of people on here who say they never got the money, voucher or whatever. There is only one promotion that interests me, it is called account credit, although sometimes that does not get credited until month three but at least there is only one company to deal with, the ISP.I have rung Shell Energy on numerous occasions and they will always match or even beat their current MSE deal if you go direct. My advice to you would be to call Shell Energy and tell them you want to leave as they are in breach of the original offer, if they do not credit your account within 7 days ask for a deadlock letter and send it to their ADR provider. Using their ADR provider costs them more than you have lost so they will settle. When companies mess me about like this I usually send them a letter before action that offers ADR at the same time in accordance with Civil Procedure Rules for Practice Direction and Pre-Action ConductThe letter gives them 14 days to resolve your claim or provide a deadlock letter for their ADR provider. If a company does not have an ADR provider or messes me around then I will gladly file a money claim online, but usually I start the dispute with a warning that as they are in breach of contract I am charging them £10 for each email they send me and £25 for each email I send them, with effect from my next email.I did this for a friend and there were 23 emails back and forth, the Court added the cost to the claim as part of the fixed costs.Your deal is with Shell, they promoted via MSE and the third party company but under the consumer rights act 2015 your contract is with the company you paid, Shell. The consumer rights ac would consider this mis-selling (not getting what is on the tin so to speak), any breach of legislation or unfair contract term is automatically a breach of contract.Make sure you are dealing with EU call centre not the one in South Africa because the latter is a glorified answerphone, they have virtually zero ability to do anything.Don't wait any longer, give them notice, (7 days for ADR or 14 days if you want to drag them in front of a Judge, the small claims court (moneyclaim online) is a part7 track procedure so you can't be charged for their legal costs, both parties can only claim fixed costs.Maybe if more people took ADR and Legal Action then perhaps these companies would make sure you got paid what you were promised.1
