I got a letter from the DWP today saying my PIP payment is extended until Nov 2025 so that is a weight iff my mind. I got the xray results from the hospital and they came back clear, but I have to get a blood test to see if it is Rheumatoid Arthritis or not. I think I have to inform the DWP if I have an extra health condition.

I had a lovely weekend and did a few walks, ate out, saw a comedian Friday and went to an outside bar on Saturday.

We went to the Leigh-on-sea shanty festival as well for a couple of hours.

l’ve just submitted my lowest ever May utility readings, sadly the bills are still so much higher. At least petrol is coming down.
Got a couple of charity shop tops and a dress for summer.
Today’s interesting purchase is a hygrometer for soil moisture so I don’t over or under water my pots. I have a lot of shrubs and climbers in big tubs and it’s so hard to know when they need water.

Found a really lovely baked bean recipe full of fresh veggies and really tasty in a book by Amelia Freer called Cook, Nourish, Glow. So easy, it uses 2 tins of cooked haricot beans. It even freezes. I’ve had the book for years, and the book originates from helping my late husband feel better when on his cancer treatment. I’ve started looking back through old cookbooks for inspiration. This one is a keeper.
    Have a good week.
Since it’s Wellness Wednesday I’ll tell how I’ve also added a form of qigong into my daily routine called Ping Shou Gong or Shuai Shou Gong.
here’s  the you tube video. It’s really helping me get stronger and there’s a mindfulness to it too. Sets me up for the day and has helped increase my post viral energy levels.

    Thrifty Thursday.

    And I haven't spent a bean.......so all good.  😂🤣

Trying very hard not to spend much at the moment although I did succumb yesterday to a couple of books off Amazon...(used). A lovely illustrated Grimms Fairy Tales for my grandchildren when they visit and an illustrated edition of Culpeppers Complete Herbal.  Oh and a cerise pink sweater but that was from a chazzer, so less than £10 the lot,  not too extravagant.

Wellness Wednesday saw me weighing myself, checking my blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Not good news, the numbers  need to come down so I'm now back on my diet. A lot of leg pain (fibro and arthritis)  but I managing to exercise even if it's just a few stretches and a short walk.

I have also still been struggling with pain in my jaw from the tooth extraction,  yesterday another sharp piece of either bone or tooth fragment worked loose.  At least I didn't have to undergo having it manually removed this time, it just worked its own way out.  Today my jaw feels much better so hopefully we're all done now.  Tbh, the complications I've experienced has really made me quite nervous about having implants now.  Quelle surprise. Lol.

Viewed the house this afternoon, I love it. It's not a purchase, it's another rental.  I don't want to commit to a purchase just yet, not with house prices being on a downward trajectory at the moment.  I am happy to wait until I find my "dream house". 😂.  The reason I am considering moving is because it's on the right side of the city for visiting my family and friends and it is probably roughly where I ultimately want to buy, so I would really like to get to know the area well before I commit. It is likely to be my "forever" house so I want to make sure I get it right.

Hopefully I should know within a day or two whether my application has been successful.  If not, then I'm happy enough to stay here for a bit longer - it's a nice bungalow so it's no hardship.  I firmly believe in the old adage "bloom where you are planted".  However, it's a really nice property, more spacious, in a good area, a more convenient location and as the rent is only £25 more than I'm currently paying I thought I'd try for it.

Thanks for the link for the you tube video. Artistlifestyle.  Glad you are finding it helpful.  I have dug out some of my fitness DVDs and aim to start them tomorrow.  I know it's sounds daft but whilst my jaw has been so painful I haven't really felt like exercising much.

One of the advantages of the house I looked at is it's within walking distance of a council run leisure centre which apparently has a very nice and very reasonably priced gym.  My friend goes most days.

so.......🤞🤞🤞 I get it, if not well Que Sera.

This really worries me. My implant journey has involved 3D specialised scans before and after each procedure. Initial appointment 3D scan to inform if there was enough bone for implants. Appointment to have 4 teeth and a root (left from previous dental surgery) extracted. Another scan after extraction to ensure no particles left. Healing for 6 weeks. Another scan before implants inserted. Implants inserted including bone grafts needed due to bone damage from an infection 30 years ago. Another scan after implants to ensure everything is as it should be. Next appointment is to have stitches removed 3 weeks after implants and more scans. Then in 9 weeks have more scans and crowns fitted to implants.
I trust my implantologist totally as I already have some 15 year old implants he did, although they were easier ones.
15 years ago I had to go to the hospital for an MRI pre surgery but they now have their own special 3D scanning machine

    Fabulous Friday.

What a glorious day, wall to wall 🌞. Blue skies as far as the eye can see, flowers bobbing away in the gentle breeze, lazing in a garden chair with a good book, eating meals Al_Fresco.  All that's missing is the sound of waves lapping onto a dazzling white sandy beach.  All is good.

Quick update .....didn't get the house I was after.  No worries, something will turn up.  All in good time.

    Time for a cuppa.......

    have a Fabulous Friday. 💕

    Hi Naraize.

Thank you. I'm nothing special but it was very kind of you to be so complimentary.

Yes I do desire to live a bright life, very much so, however, the energy levels are a bit low at the moment.  It would no doubt help if I lost some weight.  Lugging an extra couple of stones around probably isn't exactly conducive to having bags of energy.  Tbh I have done very little today, I even fell asleep in the garden this afternoon. 🤣.   Still as my husband used to say "there's nothing spoiling".

    "Tomorrow is another day". 😉
