Wellness Wednesday.Cannot tell a lie, feeling a tad below par today. A bit bruised and battered from the dentist and dreadfully tired. I did manage a few stretches but so far haven't managed a walk.Tomorrow is another day........😌5

I hope you feel better soon 😊
My wellness Wednesday applies to my two cats, as I’ve just picked up their antibiotics for a bug they have been tested for which spreads to humans and is probably the reason I was ill for a week a while ago 😱MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4 -
I hope you feel better soon @helensbiggestfan 😊
I also had an implant a few years ago and they are very time consuming and expensive!!4 -
I have been feeling extremely tired since the clocks went forward which is weird as normally it has the opposite effect. My Fitbit was just sending me a message to get a move on. How rude! Lol.
We had the workman here this week and he ruled out a burst water pipe so we have to wait for another workman from the insurance company to come now. This is so tedious.
I did manage to dye my roots so my hair looks a bit better. I did also book the bulky waste collection and the chiropodist for next week.
I have been watching reading a lot and watching Netflix as we have the 4 month free trial with them and staying in so much.6 -
I hope you are feeling better @helensbiggestfan and @Wednesday2000 anything to do with teeth is so debilitating and the clock changes do cause havoc. Given a choice I’d prefer BST all year.I’m still off work, still coughing far too much and have a very sore throat, so now unable to talk. Told to rest the larynx. Chest rattle and sinus improved, X-ray appt on Monday coming. So my days are still a mix of reorganisation, rest and Christmas knitting. It’s getting a bit repetitive and despite accepting this will take a while I find I’m also chafing at how small my life is becoming. The Gp said I must rest, but after a month it’s not so easy as prevention of total de conditioning is vital to me. So I do a few chores, then sit for a while, and repeat, repeat. I am desperate to get back to work. Been watching videos of folding clothes, yes really, and am halfway through reorganising my chest of drawers and shelves. Threw out some odd socks yesterday, clearly the washing machine has swallowed their mates. Funny how that happens.
Picked up some second hand glass jars from FB Marketplace, now dishwashed with new silicone seals. I’m hoping a friend will come and adjust two shelves in the kitchen cupboards this weekend as it requires a drill more technical skill than I have, then some of the bigger worktop items can be put away when not used. The kitchen will be so much better. At least there are some tangible benefits from all this unexpected time at home - elevating my environment and having a bit of a clear out.
I bought some Easter cards to send as I can’t ring anyone up right now. It will pass a little bit of time writing them. A friend called yesterday and it’s so hard trying not to speak at all. Half a teaspoon of Manuka honey (found in the cupboard) does ease the throat a little. The thousands of sycamore seedlings are getting taller in the garden, I’m hoping by Sunday that I can get the mower out, and the path needs hand weeding, I plan to do five minutes at a time.
Currently watching Ruby Wax in the Rockies on iPlayer. Taking a break from crime drama 🤣🤣
have a Fabulous Friday everyone and a Wonderful Weekend.8 -
Fab FridayAlthough not really feeling fab today.......still some discomfort from the tooth extraction and also Chiro today. Feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. 😂🤣. I have slept all afternoon, so feel a bit better now. I just need to be patient and stay focussed on the prize. Rome wasnt built in a day.I'll keep going and I'll get there. Easy dinner, and early night. I've booked a chiropodist for next week. Slow but sure.Wednesday. I too have felt the effects of the clocks going forwards. It has affected my sleep patterns and like you I'm feeling very tired. It just takes a while for our bodies to get used to the new circadian rythms.Artistlifestyle......you sound like you are making good progress. Just hang in there and keep going. It will be summer before we know it and I Am sure that you and I both will feel better for some nice warm sunshine.Have a Wonderful Weekend❤️6

Hello friends - how is everyone doing? I have been laid up with the worst cold! My wee nephew gave it to me - and 5 other people - honestly - cute smiley 6 month old babies are the best super spreaders ever!
It is a beautifully sunny day here in Bedfordshire and I have managed to get out walking with the dogs twice in between meetings today - so that has been very enjoyable.
I am also on a super health kick - have gone veggie at home to cut costs but have added in lots more fresh fruit and veggies - which seems to cost a fortune - I think I am probably breaking about even!
How are we all doing? Its been a few days since anyone has posted - I hope everyone is okay?

I hope everyone is recovering. I got away with just a sore throat.
I had the most delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream this afternoon. Best of all, I didn’t have to pay for it. My £10 a year for membership at Dobbies Garden Centre gives us a hot drink for two every month, and a pleasant half hour looking at the plants.
I bought a pack of three strawberry plants with 10% off the price. With luck they will give some fruit for a few years and produce a few baby plants from shoots.
Jam tomorrow!5
