After a good start to the month my NSD run has fallen to pieces! Still on 6. But animal food has been stocked up and a human food top up happened as well. I'm still working on reducing the cupboard stock so just some fresh bits.
Sun has been shining here- most unusual for February, we more commonly have snow than sun at this time of year 😆.
I've managed over 100,000 steps again this week, so happy enough with that.
Lots of little jobs ticked off the list today, more planned for tomorrow including finishing the wardrobe sort-out.
Grateful for sun, yellow-stickered snacks and cuddles from DD.7 -

I loved the Little Women series & a fan of Miss Read too. Got into Anne, when I watched the film adaptation with Megan Follows, it's still a favourite over 30 years later 😃
Another busy day - yoga done, replaced the washing lines & hung washing out, chopped sticks, then walked 4.5 miles with DH. Finished my book whilst eating dinner, then finished emptying out the tonne bag if sand, dragged it into its new position, then refilled it again. Cut last year's stems off the Hollyhocks growing down the driveway, then snipped the stems into pieces & put on the compost heap. Listed some things on 3bay, after tea I did the dishes, then dropped my car off at the garage ready for fixing & MOT tomorrow. It'll be so good to have working windows & wing mirrors again! Watched TV with DH & knitted. My turn in the bath now, going to add some Epsom salts to ease the aches in my back.
Grateful for the sand being moved, time in the garden, DS3 bringing me back from the garage, good books, a funny series to watchUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Grateful for the sand being moved, time in the garden, DS3 bringing me back from the garage, good books, a funny series to watchi hope the pains in your back ease. I think I overdid the overnight You Tube of the songs of my lfe. I had avoid watching my beloved Freddie singing the Days of our Lives. One of the tv channels had said they would show a new Queen song which they did however one look at Freddie's drawn features and the whispered I still love you at the end and youngest and I knew he'd already left this lifeIt's been very cold here today but there is a hope of some sun to come according to Stav the weatherman.I used to read the Pollyanna books when very young and spent a lot of time urging people to play the glad game. The day my mum dropping a lovely lovely lamb casserole when taking it out of the oven and the pyrex dish shattering and the content spreading everywhere my how can we play the glad game over this.? led to my beloved dad telling me to go to my rom. Fish and chips from the chippy that night.Lamb is my favourite meat I was always careful taking it out of the oven but when we adopted the late much missed silver tabby Oliver he was addicted to lamb and when I was carving the joint he'd be standing on my toes trying to grab a slice and as he loved Freddie we did indulge him for a while.but now we imagine him damcing among the stars doing the moves with Freddie. He is under a Rosemary in the back garden next to the one we planted for Freddie.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Hi just checking in to say I am on nds day 8 and probably today and tomorrow will be nsd. While I am on budget I am Incredibly broke as have paid house insurance and mot w repairs outright in January and February. Next is my car insurance and will have to borrow from my savings to pay that one, as have not managed to set up a budget account (I don't touch). This is very bad and my big downfall.
Not hear to moan though - as have invested in GYM membership am trying to make the most of it with a swim on Saturday and on Sunday morning I did a 10 k group run on a footpath that winds around a deer and safari park with little peaks at various animals. And guess they are trying to close it to the public - so it is a little claim of right of way to do that route. And it was a lovely group and coffee at frosts afterwards. Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning my car and raking up leaves in the garden.

Hello, been absent for a couple of days. Will get back on track by the end of this week and get back to proper reporting.
Had a lovely weekend, spend loads of time in the garden, planting some lily bulbs and an artichoke (always wanted to have one, might be a bit early to plant but I didn't want to leave them in the bag, so I made sure they're protected in the ground), doing a after winter tidy and pruned my apple trees.

Hello turtles. I've had several days being quiet and trying to process some very yukky stuff. Time does help. Today I am grateful for a cheerful time at the gym, for dc's blood test appt going smoothly, for finding some clothes for dc in the ch shop, for dc having the all clear at the dentist, for Father Brown, for signing a couple of contracts for work over the next few months.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!11
