Hi everyone, thanks @elsiepac for the new thread!
£200 for February for us please.
This includes all shopping for 2 adults and 3 children that eat just as much as us, even the 4y oldUsually get quite a bit of fruit and veg and bread from olio but it hasn’t been very good the last few weeks, so if that doesn’t pick up again it will be more of a struggle.

Hoping for 550 should be less as it’s only 4 Tesco deliveries plus bread too ups 🤷♀️7

First time joining this. It’s just me and my 4 year old daughter and kitten at home.Do you include cat food and litter in with your budget doing found this?I’m going to take a guess at £200 for February - it will be interesting to see what I’m spending.
looking forward to doing this7 -
@Amandaa5449 - it's up to you how you want to do your budget. I don't have pets but if I did I would have a separate budget for them so it wouldn't come out of my grocery budget. In the same way I don't include alcohol in my GC but have a separate budget for it.
Others include everything they spend in supermarkets, butchers, bakers, farmers markets etc!9 -
Back for month 2 and a BUDGET of £350 again please.
That's 2 adults and Neville the cat. January made us really think about using what we've already got, stickng to a menu plan and shopping list, freezing and using leftovers and avoiding popping to the shops when we just need a couple things.7 -
Thank you for running the thread elsiepac. I'm carrying on with my £1200 annual budget but trying not to spend more than £100 each month.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget7
