£70.67 left.Total spends for February came in at £201.76/£224.
£22.24 left over.
Very happy with this. Hoping to come in budget for March.
Well done everyone here. If you came in budget or not you are still holding yourself accountable and that is a good thing.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy4 -
Quick update on spends. But shop on Tuesday, £75.75 across five shops. Total for the year to date is now, £434.23/£2640. I owe DS-i-L for two lots of milk, so that will be a few more pounds, I'll add that when I know how much. But I should still be on track for the year. Had two more shops since my last post, we had an Iceland curry and rice, definitely won’t be buying again as the price is ridiculous and they’ve changed the rice. Picked up brownie lion bars for my middle child who is obsessed with the different flavour lion bars
£9.75 then technically the last shop should come from march budget as it was yesterday however I’m adding it to feb and starting afresh today. Picked up giant peppers, letttuce, cucumber, lean mince beef and some packet rice to make taco’s last night as already had the rest of the items in the cupboard. It was worth going over budget for as it was wonderful to all sit round the table together sharing a meal for the first time in 2 weeks.
£203.73 spent. £3.73 over target, I don’t think that is to bad!See you in March!4 -
February declared at £238.68/£270
Happy with that but stocks getting low so March will be a challenge. Over I go...

I have one more small spend to declare £1.65 in Sainsbugs for 2L of skimmed milk. Popped in to buy the Sunday paper, (which we get on subscription so have to pay with a voucher). 3 pints of the milk are now in the freezer, split between two containers.
Also got a £2 coin in my change, which has gone directly into the Running Away Fund. (We have a rule to never spend a £2. It goes into the Running Away Fund money box.)
I’m not declaring yet for February. We still need to spend £2.48 in L!dl by COB Tuesday, in order to qualify for their £2 off voucher. I’ll ask DH to spend that - he can spend it on chocolate. (He will buy it anyway.)Now at £126.75/142 leaving £15.25 for the rest of the month.
- PipI am declaring at £125.50/£142 with £16.50 to roll into March.
Yes, that is lower than the total in my last post but there is £16.50 left in the GC purse, so I must rely on the maths. Not certain how that happened, unless DH didn’t take back some cash that was owed to him after his trips to Sainsbugs and L!dl.
