Since i was last here, I've spent;
£8.11 at a small supermarket,mostly reductions, but also a pasty each for OH and I, when we went out to get lamb milk. £22.08 in Morrisons, mostly veg and salad. £14.50 in the veg shop, including biscuits and sweets, (OH came in with me). Not many boxes with veg in, mostly fruit, hence the spend above in Morrisons.
Total for these is £44.69. Total to date, £358.48/£2640 for the year.
Quite pleased with this, as we are most way through February.
Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.8 -

DAY 2 - we have lots of cereal to use up as children have left us with open boxes of choc and ordinary rice krispies and choc hoops as well as all of our usual cereals. Lunch DH had half a bake it yourself loaf and I had a cheese and chutney wrap with an apple for afters. Out at commitee meeting tonight so fish finger sandwhiches before we leave. Also working our way through lemon meringue made yesterday. 🍋😋 £5.10 spent on bread and a tin of fruit.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Another spend of £7.54 today on some tomatoes, lemons and a few bits for the food bank. One of the lemons was enjoyed with pancakes this evening so I just need to think what to do with the rest. Maybe some lemon drizzle cake is in my future! I might also slice and freeze some for use in drinks.
I'm up to £181.40/£250 now and I should be ok with what I've got in the house until next week's supermarket delivery on Tuesday.8 -
My grocery bill runs from 20th to 20th.
So far I have spent £32 as my top up. I have a few meal ideas sitting in the freezer and fridge, couple of mix n match things in the cupboards so I'm going to try and stretch it out this month. Last month I went way over budget.

. Went to 3 different supermarkets looking for strawberries
, none to be had. Ended up buying maple syrup in Lidl (£3.89), assorted spreads, marshmallows and whipped cream in Sainsbury (£5.45).Total spend £15.68

Hi everyone, sorry for my absence this last couple of weeks, I have had an awful cold which has refused to budge, I’m still feeling it over two weeks later!
I don’t have a list of spends but we have pretty much only been doing our Sunday shop. Apart from this weekend when I was away from home and husband took the grocery funds, I believe he spent some of it but he didn’t keep any receipts.
This week’s grocery shop was £71.49, plus £10.50p for dog food. The kitty currently holds £39.96p, so we are still looking good as the months endsDebt Free Journey started 21.05.20177 -
