Looking for a Torque Convertor Auto - motability car

It seems that TC gearboxes are falling out of fashion ?
Suzuki no longer use them (I've had Suzukis for 15 years)
What manufacturers still do ?
Kia ?
Renault - Scenic 1.3 TCE Auto ?
Citroen C3 - I recall Citroens from the past - comfortable but reliability and RUST problems
Hyundai (which models)
And the DCT and DSG boxes are no good either
As for CVT - Words fail me

What's the issue with DSG? There have been some problems with certain VAG ones, but I'm not aware of any wider issues with the design? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

If you spend 90% of your time in stop/start sub 5mph traffic, then you need a torque converter. DSGs are supposed to be designed for this, but as they are slipping a wet clutch every time you start off it is pretty obvious they are going to wear out.If you don't do this, or tow a lot then they are fine, and supposedly superior to a torque converter box (although I can't see any reason why they should be, I can think of reasons why they would be inferior, like if you need a down change when it has queued up another up change, but I doubt if I'd notice as long as the car keeps going along)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

And nothing wrong with CVT, unless taxi drivers with 300,000 mile Toyota hybrids and Oz Subaru owners with 500,000km on the clock are all wrong.
Not all DSGs are wet clutch. The issue with DSG is there are far too many which have failed prematurely (including my second) and 20 years since introduction there are still problems.

My 2016 Mazda 3 has a TC gearbox and was actually a motability car before I got it. No idea if new ones still do.0

Mazda might well be a good shout if they still do TC autos as they have stuck with larger normally aspirated engines on many of their vehicles rather than smaller turbocharged ones, and these are better suited to the TC format.
