Kim_13 said:Did you get to the bottom of this? I have a phantom voicemail alert that won't go away. RWG advised me to email them with my details to request a mailbox reset which I did, then I never heard from them again. It's even followed me onto a different phone so I thought I'd disable it, re-enable it and see if that worked. I disabled it but it won't re-enable so I now have no voicemail. I would happily have traded a working voicemail to get rid of the alert but it's still there.
Literally every number RWG number I try now either drops my call or says connection problem or invalid MMI code. The only one that works in the info text to check bundle allowances.
I've since read that leaving myself a voicemail, listening to it and deleting it might flush the alert out but cannot try that with a mailbox that refuses to reactivate.
I ported into RWG around 13 months ago.0 -
269 was dropping my calls when I posted but then (correctly) told me there was no mailbox for this number, so it looks like RWG have been having a few issues tonight.
*123*1# came up as connection error or invalid MMI. I tried it again after reading your post at which point it said encoding error, before re-enabling my voicemail on the next attempt. I was apparently set to text alert but changed it to no notification and then changed it back to text again, so we'll see what that does.0 -
I'm pretty sure that voicemail and all the shortcode numbers bypass rwg and gi straight to nowmobile, but their website contains zero useful info.0

This happens to some extent on all networks. It means the phone has got out of sync with the voicemail server. So the error will follow you around. The best way to cure it is to call yourself from another phone , with your phone on let the call go to voicemail. Leave a message. Hang up. Wait a while, from your phone call voicemail then listen to the message all the way through and then delete the message. This will send the no messages signal to your phone.I don’t know if this will work if you’ve been turning voicemail on and off.0
