    Morning DFW’rs

It does feel weird to be typing this, not because its not nice to be back but its odd typing my thoughts here after so long and such a journey since my first diary. After a lifetime of using criticism to beat myself up over I finally am starting to be proud of myself and my journey.

Anyway today I thought I would look at income………….I posted on the SOA that it was 2k but that was just an estimate. Future SOAs will be exact

We need to develop portable incomes that mean we can travel, I have “audibled” a few books and understand that you need a min of 7 income streams lol fat chance but you reach for the moon and get to the stars, so here is the pitiful list so far

    1. HGV driving - MrP (licence was reissued 28th December, this can go to temping after MrP gets into the swing again)
    2. Craft Business - MrsP (currently trying to build this back up with 17 shows in the year)
    3. Craft Business - MrP (at the early stages here, needs website shop still and craft shows)
    4. Revelry Shop - MrsP (first pattern on Ravelry, look at Etsy)
    5. FreeTrade - MrsP (account open and some success, needs more investment)
    6.
    7.

As you can see some gaps, so open to suggestions, especially passive ones. I can fall back on accounts and can start a teaching business if need be too

    Morning DFW's

Yesterday I added the debts up £13,491.65!!! To be honest I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't more, not sure if that was a good thing or bad, probably bad lol

The list goes as follows, all 0%

    Debt 1 £212.96
    SKDC £268.20
    Bank £368.09
    CC 1 £434.44 was £5,000 (£20/mnth)
    Debt 2 £505.21
    Gas £516.26
    CC 3 £925.00 was £1,200
    CC 2 £2374.62 was £6,000
    Catlog £2892.76
    S Power £4994.11 (£70/mnth)

At one point we were 40k plus in Debt, so it is an improvement

Plan of action at the moment is to reign in the spends to allow for minimum repayments

Plus to try to increase our income

What a terrible time you’ve been through. I do remember your old diary, I’ve been on here since 2008. How lovely for you to find people are still Tilly-tidying 😊 Onwards and upwards.

@Blackcats trimming I think would be a good start, I am missing emergency funds etc

@joedenise we are using the clubs, sadly cls are about £15 to £21 a night now. If we had a permenant pitch they are often £250/month but electrics on top, so its swings and roundabouts on that one. Gas is cooking only and a 6kg propane lasts just over 2 months

Have you thought about becoming wardens for a season

Anything you could sell to get rid of some of the small debts?

@Sun_Addict it's sure been a roller coaster but to be honest all our married life has been. Nice to be remembered, I'm seeing some familiar bods too. The Tilly thing has made my year lol

@beanielou we had to just tip loads as we sold and left the house in 3 weeks, we still have stuff to sort in storage though, so it's possible. Mobiles, that's DH nightmare, had to have the latest phone with expensive contract, d-day is tomorrow for contract ending

@pelirocco I would but not sure hubby would lol

    Morning Debt Busting Peeps

Well today is payday, not as exciting as usual as DD needed a sub till next week  :( promised it back next week so not gone just delayed

    Update

    Tilly Tidy 2023 £12.17
    NSD Jan 4/10

Diner today : Mince Keema with lime and corriander

    Jobs today
    1, update YNAB
    2. Recon banks
    3. Finish test knit for 2nd pattern
    4. Dye remaining viscose for orders
    5. Draw, cut, tack hand painted viscose
    6. Insta posts
    7. MSE post
    8. Walk dog
    9. Clean bathroom
    10. Wash up, make bed, replenish water, empty toilet

Yesterday was a mixed bag, DH was off as lorry was at the menders, oil everywhere. So not quite as productive for me but he wove 2 scarves!

Today is also EE contract end so having earmarked a sim only month to month contract which reduces us from £135 to £50 I’m aiming to pin them down and change. Not easy fighting both EE and DH (the lure of a shiney new toy is eating away at him, yesterday his phone was f*cked about 6 times!!! It’s like debt bustng blindfolded with a butter knife)

The new knitting pattern is a double cowl on 7mm kneedles with Aran, looking great so far but the last one had lots of views and saves but no buys, I suspect it takes time to establish yourself, just the same as other craft businesse

On the weaving scarf front I put it DH that I have an artisan craft fair in the wings, how does he fancy it? Well you would think I had asked him to walk on hot coals juggling scorpions, his face was a picture, not sure how he things he’s going to sell them!!

Time for coffee and a read, stay safe and happy x
