From what I understand, O2 do their price increase in April. So to be absolutely clear of that, it would most likely be best to sign up in the following month - May. That way they don't really have an excuse to whack you with the 15-16% hit this year since you are not within the April billing period. Only thing is that they will still get to do it the following April (2024). Try to get the shortest possible contract.john-306 said:Hi,

From what I recall, last year O2 had a cut off date of around the 28th March where any new contracts after that date weren't hit by the rpi increase.1

If it's any help I upgraded with EE in march last year on 25th and didn't get hit with the RPI I will this year next year I'll go back to SIM only1
