Blistex does nothing for me - I use Zovirax. I also have little pots of vaseline aloe vera scattered about the house and put that on for simply dry lips as opposed to nasty cracked ones.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Didn't Blistex used to be called Blisteze? These days I use Burt' s Bees beeswax lip balm. The best one I ever had was a lavender and beeswax one from a National Trust shop but haven't seen it recently.1

I am in hospital at the moment and have a very dry mouth and sore lips (no I'm far too old to be chasing the Doctors )
But my DD gave me a small Palmers Cocoa butter formula lip balm which is great She swears by it and I must say it is very good
