Can anyone recommend a good app to use for investments?
I have downloaded plum and it seems really simple to use, I want to spread some investments between a few stocks and I’m unsure of the best platform to use.

Any device would be appreciated, especially any experienced stock recommendations.

Wealthify are doing a sign up offer where they will give you £25 if you invest £25 for a year. See:

So you might want to put £25 in that for a start even if you don't use it after that.1 -
Freetrade's very good. Lots of choice of many different ETFs, company shares and markets.1

Not a recommendation since I know little about them but CMC Invest will give you a £50 free bet £50 to invest on their platform if you open an account and fund at least £50.
I stuck £50 in there a couple of days ago but no sign of my free money yet.7 -
There’s a £40 sign up offer through Topcashback for Investengine at the moment https://www.topcashback.co.uk/investengine/ . Payable if you invest £100 minimum for 180 days.
Im unlikely to persevere with it after I’ve pocketed the sweetener, but have to say I like the simple no frills interface and there’s a decent range of ETFs to choose from. It’s fee free as well.Save £12k in 2020 #42 £12,551.25 / £14,000 89.65%3 -
Do you need an app for investments? If you are buying for long term then the temptation to check on your phone regularly might lead to rash decision making. I have DD setup on my account for monthly investment and no need for much else.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.6

If you mean an investment platform that has an app, then both Hargreaves Lansdowne and Fidelity do. I expect others as well. Lloyds Share Dealing is accessible from their mobile banking app.0

Some might look at the annual report but most will go straight to the not terribly useful projection at the backTo be fair it's probably a better course of action than checking on the train or while having tea. Too much inspection leads to meddling2
