I freeze my soups/stews in ziplock bags, then stick them in the freezer laid flat. So when I lift some out to defrost they do it quicker cos they're in a thin layer rather than a big fat lumpI oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.12

there are various ant killers- some not very expensive
My friend had a whole sticky flan covered in ants! it wasn't in a tin or fridge. No idea where they had come from..... stuck like the 'tar baby'Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Clean out your cupboards. You'll probably find something has spilled and they can smell it. I had some a few years ago coming in the back door, across the floor, up the wall, into the cupboard and sown the shelves for some spilled sugar. I eneded up getting nippon gel stuff and putting it on a piece of cardboard.

Ants charging around in my kitchen too through an air brick but got Ant powder in all the crevices outside and seems to have stopped them coming in now.4

I will try that too. I cleared the work surfaces, cleaned them and gaffer taped over any gaps (our kitchen is 45 yrs old and needs replacing) hopefully that will help. I will also ant powered the air bricks and the patio.4

I ‘invented’ banoffee pie in a sundae glass. Three chocolate hobnobs broken up in the bottom. Spoonful of toffee, two chopped up bananas, spoonful of whipped cream and broken flake on top. Served 7 in 100ml glasses. I named them banoffee sundaes. Delicious. We had them again the next day.17
