I have lots, but most have escaped by brain at the moment....
A simple one- rather than making stock, when a recipe calls for it, I add the required volume of water, then crumble in the stock cube and allow it to cook down- saves a sticky residue of undissolved stock in the measuring jug11 -
Would save smushing it about in the jug with a fork like I do!I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.10

Not really a trick but i never buy something i want when i want it, the resultant lag if i do end up buying normally means i can get something that either doesn't depreciate (so can normally sell on at profit if not what i really wanted) or actually provides real value for money or pleasure. Buyers remorse is something i've not felt for many many years now.

MIL's trick was to have a tray by the stairs so she could take things up that belonged there and then take things down when going the other way. You could easily use a small basket for that too.Its me Culpepper LOL couldn't sign in with the old ID so time for a fresh start....14

Think I’m gonna steal your tray idea too @halfamo 😀I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.2

We changed the duvet cover today, I impressed husband with the new California roll trick I learned on here. He was very impressed and then followed it up with asking what life had come to if that was the most exciting thing he had learned today 🤣🤣🤣17

I’ve had a practise at the duvet thing and can’t get it right. Yet.What’s my life come to that I don’t have a tray or basket for taking stuff up and down stairs, so it gives me an excuse to go round the charity shops tomorrow…. 😁
Oh and I want a second washing up bowl now too!I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.9 -
Stumbled across this thread; love tips and tricks! Although my mind is so blank right now.I ‘peel’ ginger with a teaspoon, or freeze immediately and grate into cooking.
A basket or box at the bottom of the stairs is something I’ve done for ages although everyone except me just walks past it 🤣Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

Many moons ago, Id be the person standing in the queues for the sale ( back when they were real sales ) and then doing the online sales. Now I stick stuff in my basket and leave it a day or 2. Now 9 times out of ten, you get another 10% discount code sent to urge you to buy. If I dont get one, I dont buy - saves me a bloomin fortune
