But we all know what the farcical duo of UKPC and DCB Legal will end up doing after wasting everybody's time... discontinue before it ever gets in front of a judge... if defended robustly as advised on this forum.3

Morning
Just had a call from DCBL wanting to settle. I told them no, I will see them in court. Hope I did the right thing and it will not jeopardise the outcome for me.2 -
Unless their offer to settle involved them paying money to you!4

Morning
I received a letter from the CCBC "Notice of Transfer of Proceedings"
Saying that the case will be allocated to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions.
As an aside, I have had another email from the landlords saying that they have asked UKPC to cancel the claim, but they are not responding.
Do I need to send this second email to DCBL now or wait
thanks0 -

You could email DCB Legal a copy of the email you have received from the landlord and point out that failure to respond to the landlord's request by their client will be highlighted to the court. Perhaps now is the time for them to discontinue as per their modus operandi when confronted with a robust defence and a claimant who is not scared by their robo-claim, intimidation tactics.5 -
Agreed. Both parties are required to narrow the issues and avoid court if possible, so telling the claimant now will help your case if they decide to bludgeon on to a hearing.
There is no commercial justification, or any other justification for that matter to continue with the claim once the landowner has told the PPC they want the charge cancelled.I married my cousin. Do I need to send this second email to DCBL now or waitSend it to DCB now, as advised. Be robust and pushy but polite-ish.
Also (later) use it as an exhibit at WS stage and they will discontinue at that point..PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
