I received a letter yesterday, it was dated 31st January 2023. Do I need to respond? please see the wording below. Thanks
Having reviewed the content of your defence, we are writing to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim.
The court will direct both parties to file directions in due course. In anticipation of that we are enclosing a copy.,
Without prejudice to the above, in order to assist the court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case. Therefore, in the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call 0203 838 7038 within 7 working days and make immediate reference to this correspondence.

Standard copy and paste from DCBL to which people who have not found this forum are the subject of a money mugging.
In your case DCBL are fully aware that a court spanking awaitis them, will they trick you
Let's face it, with all the discontinuations DCBL do, what court judge would believe anything they say

You were expecting that letter, of course. It's listed in the first 12 steps in the Template Defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
