Starting today, it's only available to YouGov Plus members at the moment. YouGov said that this is a brief testing phase and it should be rolled out to everyone else 'in August' but didn't specify a date.

As far as I’m aware it’s invite only, for people who have consistently completed surveys over an extended period. It’s good, you regularly receive extra  ‘tasks’ that often only take a few minutes and reward c.50 points. Much better than the usual surveys that pay the same. Occasionally there are e.g., watch a video or watch a public inquiry* live for 30mins and answer a few questions for much more.

*There were a couple for the Covid inquiry and I watched Boris for a while.

According to the site it's 7 years but according to the site I have had 9 x 5000 rewards and I know I have had more than that, 4 in the last year alone so the 7 years could be wrong also
 
I think it depends on how many/often you complete the surveys, I do every one as soon as I get them

2011 for me, so that's 13 years and I do every questionnaire as soon as I receive the email

They will probably select people on the basis of their demographic data, so if you represent a particular rarer cohort you may be invited sooner than someone whose profile is already well represented.
