Nooooooooooooo! I chopped mine down from 10 to 3!

EDIT. To be fair, I think I chopped it to 0 as soon as they stopped offering money back for that short interim period, which seems fair enough in hindsight. I only added them back in when they made it worth my while.

Ouch! TBF there was a lot of discussion about it at the time.

Back in the day there was no restriction at all on the number of accounts that could be added, some people had 60+ (a usage known technically as 'taking the !!!!!!').

Down to 8 as one was lost after a bank switch, another by choosing the wrong account to renew from the list of options…

My run of renewals begins about now, Nationwide has gone through ok.

Another week or so and the majority of the rest will need doing.

None of mine are LBG ones.

I'm surprised a wrong choice prevents you later going back and renewing with the right choice. I am down 1 and tried substituting another account unsuccessfully, but still see the original there available to renew if I still had it.

It did seem strange at the time, never really understood what the reason was.

Yougov allowing existing users to keep up to 10 accounts was a goodwill gesture with the aim that the number of connections would naturally lower itself over time. As I said a few posts ago, some significant changes are coming and being rolled out globally. I am not going into more details due to source protection but based on what I was told I think overall it is positive. It remains to be seen how it all turns out in practise.

Or, in my case, it's going to jump back up to 10 once I've injected a bit of activity into some of my more dormant accounts. I've been a bit slow on the uptake here … all 10 are still waiting to be reconnected!

Wouldn't worry too much about having activity on the accounts, a couple of mine have had none at all for months.

This means they don't enforce this rule. I recall t&c saying that the account has to have an activity within 30 days prior to renewal.
