You’re invited to our new Connections feature
We would like to invite you to our latest feature within the Connections tab on your member dashboard, called “Banking transaction history”, which lets you earn extra points every day by securely sharing your bank transaction data with us.
    YouGov
    How does it work?
Visit the Connections tab at the top of your member dashboard. There, you can connect an active bank account or credit card to our platform via the “Banking transaction history” button and your transaction data alone will be securely shared with us, completely anonymised before shared with clients.

The aim of this feature is to help us and our clients understand people’s spending patterns while helping you earn plenty of extra points every day with just a couple clicks.
    How much can I earn?
link icon 5 daily points for each active current account or credit card you connect.
link icon 2 daily points for each active savings account you connect.

    Start connecting
If you have any questions, you can read more about Connections here or contact the support team here.

I had the email on Wednesday, not decided yet about it, YouTube maybe, some of the others I'm not really sold on, especially browser extensions

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Linking bank accounts doesn't require the browser extension

Got my connections email/tab! Just the browsing and viewing history. But they were enough to push me over the magic 5000 points!
  • Is anyone else having trouble redeeming their points? I have enough now for £50 bank transfer but can't seem to fill out the form correctly. I get an error message each time and have tried using my laptop and my phone. I have double checked that the format of my date of birth is the right way round. I didn't have any issue with this in the previous incarnaton of the bank connections?

    Thank you

Yes, Chase won't reconnect. After I've scanned the QR code the Chase app says something along the lines of, 'I've already used this link and need to request a new one' but there's no obvious way to do it. I'll probably let it expire and try to connect another bank.

You say you've deleted your history but have you deleted your cookies? That worked for me when I was having trouble.
