All of mine, other than Starling, opened in my web browser rather than the app. It doesn't make a great deal of difference assuming they are not app-only.georged123 said:Anyone had an issue with Barclays?
Everytime I try and connect it, it goes to the website rather than the app. Every other connection has worked fine and opened the banks app no issue.

I can see how it can be possible. The connection is between YouGov and the bank, all Halifax and BOS accounts show on either profile, so you can use the same bank account twice. I don't need this because I have more than enough current accounts to secure the full benefit of the bribe, but it's a great idea for people who are short of resources.Nick_C said:10 current accounts - I'm not doing this myself, but somebody upthread posted that you can link Halifax and BOS separately, and get credited twice for the same current account(s).1 -
Just been adding accounts, first two fine but then tried RBS same process as first two by scanning QR code then app opening on phone but this time after had given access in app nothing happens and screen on yougov just stays static with the qr code instead of updating to show the rbs account connected. Tried a few times then moved on to Barclays but exactly the same thing? Anyone any ideas how to resolve?0

I've started with Barclays because it appeared on the list first. It went to the app. Everything else went to the app except VM. VM went to the website.georged123 said:Anyone had an issue with Barclays?

Close tabs created by your previous connection on your phone and try again. I had the same problem, closing tabs in browser solved it.tg99 said:Just been adding accounts, first two fine but then tried RBS same process as first two by scanning QR code then app opening on phone but this time after had given access in app nothing happens and screen on yougov just stays static with the qr code instead of updating to show the rbs account connected. Barclays was one of the two (think HSBC was the other) that took a few goes. They all 'tried' to open on the browser but didn't, however they all went through despite that, giving me the connected message on Chrome (very convoluted I know).georged123 said:Anyone had an issue with Barclays?

The above banks took 2 or 3 attempts.2 -
Got my invite to link my bank accounts today. All worked simply and quickly. Clicked on the bank, scanned the QR code, this opened the app on my phone - hey presto. Sorted. Barclays, Lloyds, Monza, Chase, Nat West, Nationwide. Pity you can't have more than 10. I've loads of accounts left!0

I'm looking to connect my accounts for the points but the "Connections" tab isn't showing when I'm logged into YouGov. Anyone else had this? (I did YouGov finanace linked accounts before the points scheme was cancelled - don't know if that has something to do with it?)0

Not everyone has been invited yet
Plus some devices/browsers don’t always show it
What device are you using
What OS are you using apple/android/windows2
