Do you think it was the landowner complaint (unlikely to be the appeal that did it).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No! Premier Inn flat out refused to help.
Parkmaven said there was a technical error1 -
Strange technical error given what happened but we'll take it as a successful appeal! Maybe their booking system caused the glitch and not you.Dog_Groomer said:I stayed at the Premier Inn at Christmas. I booked and paid for a parking space (as I have done in previous years). Yesterday I got two letters in the post (perhaps due to Christmas holidays/postal strikes) from parkmaven. One was the NTK to say I overstayed the authorised parking session, fine was £100 but would be reduced to £60 if I paid within 14 days - the 14 days has already lapsed! The other letter was a reminder to say that I owe £100.
I checked my parking receipt, and I made a mistake. Instead of booking to park from Sat 2pm to Sun 2pm. I only booked for half an hour on the Saturday. The cost of the parking is the same as it was when I booked (at the same hotel) in previous years. It was a genuine stupid mistake. The question is, can I appeal? Do I have any leg to stand on? I have tried calling the particular Premier Inn I stayed in but they were adamant (and fairly rude with it) that they could not help.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
