Sorry you are feeling so low @ziggy2407
Hope you feel better soon.
Bah to the dishwasher expense @1LuckyLadyGood news on the car passing its MOT test @allydowd = is that the car that is 95% on the road? Or is that another one?A couple of useful things done today:Sorted out the veg in the fridge. Froze half a bag of kale (my home grown kale was decimated by the snow and low temperatures before Xmas), Peeled and chunked a couple of parsnips, and chopped up a pile of carrots, both now in freezer. I didn't bother to blanch them, as they will be used quite soon. The parsnips will be chucked in with a roast when I next do one, and the carrots added to soups, stews, curries, shepherds pies, chillis etc. The kale will just be cooked from frozen. I still have a small red cabbage to deal with. Apart from the kale, it was all cheap Christmas veg, definitely seen better days but still useable.Strange but yummy dinner of wraps filled with shredded pheasant meat, fried potatoes and chutney, with HM coleslaw on the side - more using up.Stove alight with kettles on top, for 'free' cuppas and washing up water - I have been washing up by hand mostly, rather than using the dishwasher, to take advantage of this.0 -

The other passed it's MOT months ago and is 95% driveable. The garage say it's OK to drive it but that it has to go back for a wee repair in a week or so. This is the one that got damaged in flood water.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama1
