    Good morning all,

Think I finally seem to be getting back into the swing of things :)

    Todays small things
<3 Get chilli out of the freezer to defrost for tomorrows meal as per the meal plan I've actually followed this week! DONE
    <3 Check banking, update spreadsheets
<3 Empty dehumidifier/sink bowl into the toilet cistern
<3 Make sons packed lunch for tomorrow - far cheaper and healthier then if he picked school dinners (ie chips)
    <3 Descale borrowed flask
<3 Clean out fridges before getting food shop - should be easy as the fridges are bare apart from milk and sauces! DONE
<3 Make sure I take shopping list with me to lidl and stick to it (but do have a separate budget for reduced items of meat or fish if available) DONE - got 2 chickens with 30% off,  2 half salmon side (which I'll cut into 3 or 4 and freeze) 3 x12 bread rolls with 60% off  -  chickens dated tomorrow so will cook them and then freeze for curries/stroganoff/risotto etc - will freeze the bread rolls for kiddos school lunches

<3<3 Claimed a £1 coin that had been left in the trolley
<3<3 Took another carrier bag of clothes for the charity bin as we drove past
<3<3 Claimed a £10 amzn voucher from RM surveys as I'd won a daily prize on Friday!! :)

    Have a good day all

    Evening all :)
I am more or less better now, but have been to work today so little accomplished on the moneysaving front. In fact lots of moneyspending, as I had to pay the deposit for the new skylight to replace the leaking one in the kitchen :#
    Very small things:
Home grown berries with breakfast (that reminds me I must get some more out of the freezer)
Took some cheese and crackers to work with me for lunch
Finished off veggie lasagne from fridge for dinner
Washing dried on the airer, shortly to be folded and put away
Kettles on the stove for 'free' hot water. Any we don't use this evening will go into flasks for the morning washing up :)

    Hello all,
Work again today, and feeling properly better and over my bug at last!!
    HG berries with breakfast
Crackers and cheese with me for lunch
Loaf of washing on before work. OH pegged it outside when done, and it mostly dried (very windy today and no rain for a change). Now finishing off on airer
Checked banks after yesterday's big spend (deposit on new roof light window) :|
OH cooked a lovely dinner :) and I did the washing up using water from the stove kettles instead of using the dishwasher. Luckily there wasn't very much!!
    Nothing spent today :)

Sorry not been around - I am struggling, depression is reall kicking me and I feel lost, alone and every day feels like wading through treacle.  Today has been a breathrough as I have finally admitted to hubby how I really feel, at my lowest I have never been as low, angry, moody, shouty and sweary as I am the minute.  Not a sympathy post just wanting to get back to being me and I promised to post

Sorry to hear this @ziggy2407 your posts have always been so inspirational to everyone that reads/follows/posts on here. Take time to get yourself back to a happy place. Happiness is so important in life. Start by writing a list of all the things that make you happy. Maybe dig out some photos of times in the past that you were truely happy. Write all the things about that memory that made you happy and see what links can be made between the happy times. Then action plan making more happy times using those lists. We’re all here if you need help or support.
