Get well soon @DawnW we had a bug like that over xmas and its taken us all a long while to recover - dh still has a cough.

Nice to see a busy thread again.

    I've also..
emptied the dehumidifier water into the loo cistern
given away a bottle of nail polish I'd got in a gift box for xmas that Ill not use
been given a pair of slippers in exchange that my friend won't use
kept all sockets off unless in use (eg microwave, cooker, chargers etc)
popped to the shop pizza as a treat for ds who was back into school for the first time post holidays (he's struggling with school so he'd had the choice of what was for tea so that he had something to look forward too! ) I had a voucher for £5 for iceland after a complaint so it was a free tea inc a bag of oven chips

Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

    Hi January Money Jugglers,

    Another precious day off today.

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Eight:

Alarm clock off at the wall during day time.

Made soup from a 23p lettuce, 33p single cream, some potatoes and fridge leftovers.

Crossing my fingers that the garage can get my car back on the road before a month's worth of plans go up in smoke.

    Evening all :)
Hope all goes well with the car @allydowd
Still feeling fairly cr*ppy, coughing and a bit dizzy, well over a week now, but got a few bits done today:
Home grown berries with breakfast this morning
Sent OH to L*idl for the shopping. Several gaps on the shelf apparently, and an eye watering bill. This might be due to OH going and not me, as he isn't so attentive on pricing :D
Might as well try Sainsbugs again next time I think, as their f & v are generally better and they are price matching Al*i on some things. But anyway, we have what we need for now.
Load of washing on airer, as the weather is awful
Made a veggie lasagne for dinner, and there is plenty left for another meal.
Curtains are drawn and the stove is alight, so it is nice and cosy in here, 'free' cuppas and washing up water from the kettles that sit on top :)

Just a flying visit to update this evening. Hope everyone has had a good day.

A NSD for me today. Was in the office, but used train pass and took sandwiches with me.
    Tea was from stores.
    Home haircut this evening
    Checked online banking, no surprises
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

    Morning all,

    Todays small things...
     <3 Pick up families prescriptions
     <3 Order more ^^^
<3 No heating on til we have used extra layers/blanket if sat around
     <3 Check banking,  update spreadsheet
<3 Put off shopping until tomorrow as we can make do with the amount of milk today
<3 Leftover beef stew with some toast for lunch with hubby
<3 Email Headspace as the website isn't giving me an option to cancel (moved over to Calm app instead as cheaper)
<3 Put stuff in the car for the charity shop - might go when I go to pharmacy depending on the weather or later in the week but if its in the car its out of the house!
<3 Make a batch of Welsh cakes for after school snacks (these keep really well in the freezer)
<3 Keep fingers crossed that the dishwasher is actually still ok... didn't take the new one yesterday so getting a refund but then last night it didn't sound quite right again after it had worked perfectly since Friday!
<3 Cook two chickens in the oven at the same time (one for us, one for my folks)  plus make some croutons with off cuts of ds1s sandwiches whilst the oven is on and cook a pack of sausages for tomorrows meal to make the most of the oven being on
<3 Empty the dehumidifier water/bowl of water from the sink in the loo into the loo cistern
     <3 Read MSE email
<3 Read some of my ebook from the library
     <3  Rm surveys

Right thats enough to get me started.

    Have a good day all.
p.s @allydowd hope the car is ok and @DawnW hope you're feeling better.
