Complaint to the landowner or managing agent of the site (do some online digging).

Complain that their agent has illegally discriminated against a Blue Badge holder...and whoever contracted UKPC is jointly and severally liable.

Painting double yellows with no kerb blips, invites parking for Blue Badge holders.  UKPC's obvious ignorance of the meaning and exemptions of double yellows is no excuse.
yep i see, do you think a county court judgement if it went to it would rule in my favour from your last comment? also I have submitted a report to the SRA who have said they are not able to help. I've submitted the SAR to UKPC, how would I go about finding the landowner/managing agent? I have tried many times to find them but not had any luck so needed some guidance please

SOME IDEAS ON DETERMINING WHO OWNS THE LAND

    1. Google searches
    2. If a retail park, check on any signage which lists the on-site outlets
    3. Ask retailers on the site if there is a managing agent
    4. Ask retailers on the site to whom do they pay rent
    5. Contact the local authority and ask who pays the non-domestic/business rate for the car park (some councils have a spreadsheet on their website)
    6. Contact the local Valuation Office and ask if they know. They often have a website which might provide the information
    7. Contact The Land Registry and for around £3 they should be able to provide definitive detail
    8. If you haven't already done so, give us the name of the car park/site/location, we may have seen other cases there.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    The SRA cannot help ???

    SRA Principles

    https://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/standards-regulations/principles/

"The SRA Principles comprise the fundamental tenets of ethical behaviour that we expect all those that we regulate to uphold.

Given the nature of the QDR letter, the lies and threats etc, that's not ethical and a menace to the public

Why don't you go back to the SRA asking why they don't support their own principles

    Their SRA number is
    560560

    The public deserve to know

What did you ask the SRA to investigate?

You seem to have had a blisteringly rapid response from them, possibly within 24 hours?

Yes it would win in court IMHO.  Equality Act evidence and info about what double yellows actually mean would likely convince a Judge IMHO.

Hi all many thanks again for all the advice given! Just wanted to update it’s been 2 months and I have not received any further letters - should I be concerned or does it look to be a closed matter?

It's where it's at. They have 6 years to issue court proceedings.

The NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, tells you exactly how to deal with a formal Letter of Claim from a parking firm's solicitor. So your next step is to visit the above announcement, read it, then deal with the LoC.

Having read the Newbies thread, you now know what to do... yes?

The second post in the Newbies thread... "Pre-action stage". You SAR the claimant (not the lawyers) if you haven't already done so and if you want extra time, you tell DCB Legal that you are seeking debt advice but deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
