Anyone know if you have to go through the ID rigmarore in branch if you've already got open online accounts with YBS?Bridlington1 said:You can open it in branch now if you wanted to though.

Just take a letter/passbook showing one of your existing account numbers and that will suffice. If my memory serves me well I opened a family saver in branch in July 2022 without needing ID.TiVo_Lad said:

I suspect it will be either branch/post or online, not both. This was the case with the family saver and the rainy day saver so I assume it will be the case for this account. I'll double check in branch on Monday though, unless someone on here confirms otherwise.JamesRobinson48 said:Is it allowed to have both the branch/postal Xmas RS and also its online Xmas RS equivalent? If the T&Cs are ambiguous on that, I imagine it's a question that any forumite opening in branch might care to ask and kindly let us all know.
Either way the branch/post one can be managed online anyway so I see no harm in opening it in branch if you wish to manage it online.1 -
I've just called:
It is possible to open in branch, or over the phone with branch today (if they have an appointment/an available staff member etc.)
There was a delay getting it online, but it should be available online from ~9am tomorrow.
Not possible to hold both online and branch/post versions - one or the other.
If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
