Yorkshire Building Society: imminent Christmas 2023 saver launch?

For a short time today, the YBS site included a Christmas 2023 Regular Saver ar 4.50%, up to £300/month, one penalty free withdrawl/calendar year plus penalty free closure, but the page now shows as "Product unavailable".  Perhaps this was a slip up and this product will launch next week?

Have you got the link for the page please? I'll keep an eye out for it!

It is possible that they were just testing the webpage before releasing it - I know Saffron BS also does this because I spotted new rates once before they were announced, and they were removed shortly after and then released towards the end of the same month!

Nothing coming up on moneyfacts and they tend to know about new products before they're launched. Nor is anything appearing on the wayback machine.

I suspect if they're going to launch it it will be on or around 17th as they'll be upping their interest rates on most easy access saving accounts then.
  • Surely Any Xmas Saver should be launched before Xmas, not in the new year as it would mature Jan 24 now 🤔🤷‍♂️

Not necessarily. Principality & Monmouthshire still have Christmas savers available to open at this moment in time, though the latter is now branch opening only. They could also decide to offer a regular saver that lasts for less than 12 months for whatever reason I suppose.
  • I have the Principality one, but opened it last year. Didn't realise it was still available tbh.
  • Now on the Moneyfacts site, but not (yet) on the Yorkshire site
