Boxing in boiler

Just had a garage conversion which generally happy with although boiler has been boxed in with mdf construction which looks very ugly and takes up a lot of space in a very small bathroom.  Not too bothered about getting builders back but just wondered if anyone thinks it could be done better. I think a plumber might also be able to tidy up the pipes first?

The plastic pipes can definitely be done better, but I don't see anything else in you photos that really illustrates your post.

With plastic microbore, you want to avoid as many elbows as possible, so the 'untidy' look is more practical and probably more efficient too. Hard to know if/how they could be tidied without seeing a wider photo.
As for the MDF boxing, again I'm struggling to see what it actually looks like, or how it could be improved - so a wider photo here would help too. If the plumber did this, then I guess that explains a lot

Well then if it needs to be neater fit copper pipe rather than making it look like it has been thrown in from the other side of the house. I can not believe someone would leave something like that, that would be on display.

The plastic microbore should have been tidier with easy bends taking it nearer the wall and tied back. The 15mm and 22mm looks fine.

The door should have been a proper door but it's your home and your instructions

Thank you for this . It confirms what I thought. If the pipes were tidied up we could get a slimmer unit of some sort to box it in and so gain a bit more space. The MDF cupboard has been built on an angle that just encases all the pipes.

Yes I took my eye off things towards the end as I had covid and needed to stay out of the way. Also it was 2 days before Christmas. I think I'll get another plumber in to look at the pipework.

Thats a good idea, it shouldn't cost much as it is easy plastic pipework just don't use 90 degree bends

    Hi

The platics could easily be replced by better routed copper pipes and that will make it look very tidy bar the one boiler condensate pipe. Do that it will look great.

    Thanks
