Hi received a County Court Claim.  I have AoS online.  I was not the driver was in Greece at time of bogus claim.  Not submitted any defence as of yet, advice sought.

In which nation within the UK is the vehicle registered. (Just checking because of your username).

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and your MP, and it is never too late to do so.

Check whether the NTK is or isn't PoFA compliant.

If the vehicle is registered to an address in England or Wales then use the template defence that is 95% written for you that you will find in the defence template sticky Announcement.
Amend paragraphs 2 and 3 to suit your case and post them here for checking.

Hi Fruitcake, Im in England, I think NTK its is PoFA compliant, there is no exact time car was parked just time in, time out.

Grizebeck, That is my stance also my opinion.  I am not stupid.  I will argue my case, my whole defence will not be "This invoice is bogus".  Im asking for advice not to be cahstised.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?

Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

Hi KeithP. the claim was issued on the 13/12/2022.  I acknowledge service on the 19/12/2022.

With a Claim Issue Date of 13th December, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 16th January 2023 to file your Defence.

That's a little over a week away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

My defence is I was in Greece at time.  I don't know who was driving my car, various persons allowed to drive. that's it.  I have supporting evidence I was out of country.

Is it possible to just put that in my defence submission.
