    Both lovely houses.

Our TV every so often goes black.  Sometimes programme comes back on straight away.  Sometimes takes a bit.  Sometimes mr d has to fiddle and switch everything off.  Some nights does it 3 times then it won't do it again for a few weeks,  Sometimes does it once a night for a few days.  It only happens on one TV which is attached to the main box.  We can't work out if its cables, the box or the tv.  😕
Thanks Daisy that is annoying with your box I would get on to your broadband provider that does not sound right. To be fair Virgin has been really good they have kept an eye on things the whole time we have had issues and given us a new box and a new tv box plus now replaced all the cables. DG has not had any issues but she is off work today having a bit of a chill out which is much needed.

We did play golf yesterday and it was glorious so had to sit on the patio and have a drink. It was like being in Spain or somewhere watching the sun set over the course. We are so lucky.

Also spent money on a Gregg meal but got a free Nero from the sea creature company plus £5 on 2 new holders for my golf club card as I lost it but I have now at least had the actual card replaced.

I got my frog email sent off this morning and then I am sorry to report another McD breakfast it has to be the last and hopefully it will be soon. We have not heard from the GP re DG about her weight and knee hopefully today or next week at the latest. We have asked what private options there are so hopefully. We are thinking private weight loss injections as she really cannot get back into things. I think that would be really motivating and it would certainly help me as well as she would be back on track.

Looks like we might have some work done on our water mains as they have measured and marked the pavement. The water pressure is awful so anything would be an improvement.

Also looking out of the window the council is actually cutting all the weeds on the other side of our front wall. I was going to do it myself so that is a big win.

Had dismissed this house as it was a bit close to the road but I do not think it is. Would need a bit of work doing to it but 7 bedrooms for £190K. No private beach but public beach is walkable and close to town and golf club. Only been for sale for 2 days so might well get snapped up. Just look at those views from the dormer balconies. I love that upstairs lounge!

Plans for the weekend is get the grouting done in the garden and help DG do some work that I will be doing in Denmark so this is a good test if I can do it. Sunday it is golf for a competition I have qualified to play in.

Thanks LWAP there has been no mice this weekend so maybe that phase is over for another year I really hope so. They both refuse to use a litter tray so it seems a bit mean to keep them in at night. Thanks for the feedback on the injections we are still waiting for the GP to come back to us. It says it can take 10 working days so quite a bit of time still.

Yes daisy_1571 it is nice but my sister has not replied and offered to go and see it so I am going to play it cool with myself and if it is there at Christmas we shall see. We have 3 viewings on Wednesday so that could be the ones you never know!

Saturday was really quiet we have planned to do the grouting in the garden but the weather was a bit iffy and we did not fancy getting all mucky as actually had loads of clothes to be washed. Excuse I know so that stays on the to do list. The certificate has turned up so I am just waiting for the cheque book and the forms can finally go off. It will be a celebration when they are sorted. DG also showed me how to do the work we are planning to do when we are living in Denmark. It was quite boring but it pays well and it is not difficult at all.

Sunday I played golf in a competition I had qualified for and DG slept to 1pm (she did stay up late). I did not play well which was annoying as I had done all week but that is golf you just never know. It was also medal which is much harder. We signed up for next Sunday but forgot this is when we are away for the night playing golf so promptly had to cancel again. No idea how we missed it out of the diary and I had not taken the day off so now need to do that.

We have also finally heard from our old golf club friends that they can come down and use our free green fee tickets so that is nice we just have to finalise the date and I have to send my bank details to our friend for the Portuguese hotel.

Financewise we might just have enough to pay for next Mondays ASDA order without having to top it up ourselves or raid the holiday fund.

I also wanted to share I did some chocolate treats that are so nice. It is freshly sliced banana frozen I prefer them separate but you can freeze them into a big square. Once frozen put a bit of peanut butter on each slice or spread across the square. Then put on melted dark chocolate ( I added a bit of coconut oil so make it easier to drizzle thinly) add chopped nuts I used almonds and some sea salt. Freeze and that is it. I found the square method difficult to cut/break afterwards but the individual ones break easily off. It taste like banana ice cream with the other bits it is so good!! Not sure on low carb but better than buying a chocolate bar or 3! Here is the proper recipe

I am on a site visit on Thursday and got gym x 2 plus sewing class so a busy week

Morning today will be busy 4 meetings the joys but I do get a bit of time in between to catch up luckily.

Dg is still feeling really rough but I am going to the gym myself tonight my back is so stiff so no more excuses. I am also going to message my physio friend and get myself booked in as my feet has changed and it is now quite painful to play golf. Yes more expense but needed. Rest of the week will be super busy too but at least I have Monday off.

Finances still feel really tight but hopefully DG can pay her share of the flights booked on my credit card that needs to be paid next month. This is for the flights for April.

I am looking forward to the night away it is less than 1 hour from here but it will be nice to bring back those memories of us staying there quite a long time ago now. Bonus if the rain holds off but you never know.

DG has Shingles and it did freak her out a bit. She is in pain so when she goes for her blood test today she will see if she can get some meds. I do feel sorry for her and we have three viewings today. I have a big meeting with lots of work attached to it so just not practical to be out of the house for hours today. One is at 5pm but I have a meeting with my manager then. There is no parking in the close this morning so not sure where I can put the cars unless DG is happy to go out.

We got the broadband cable buried yesterday so that is all done and I did some weeding on the drive so that now looks fine. I need to do a few bits for the viewing but I have a call at 9.15am until the first viewing at 11.15 so not much time. Maybe this is the one which would be great of course.

I have now got my cheque book so I can now get everything send off for the Land Registry once I get some signatures but with DG feeling rough I am going to have to wait.

Hopefully our friends should get the invites today or tomorrow and then I can ask them to sign the other forms as well.

Right I need to sort the garden out before the viewing and see if I can move that car somewhere.

We’ve had an offer on our house £10k under asking price which is really good. They have a two bed to sell which has just fallen through but it has only been up for two months. We’re in no rush so this could be perfect. Estate Agent thinks it would be Feb anyway before we could move. We would need March really for the Civl Ceremony but that’s only a 5 month gap which we could cope with we just cannot officially move out of the UK until Aug.

I’m not counting my chickens yet as they offered straight after the viewing. The house is not off the market and there was another two viewings today anyway.

Doing my course tonight best get set up for that.

Take care have a lovely evening.

Thanks savingholmes I did not as we are not taking it off the market so not really accepted until they have a buyer. However we have listed at £20K higher than we think the market can take right now so I was quite happy with the 4% under asking. We do have the hot tub and other stuff we would like to sell to them so that is a useful negotiation tool as well. A survey should not show anything up as everything was upgraded (plumbing and electrics) when we bought. The Estate agent did try to call me last night but I was in the meeting all day so missed the calls. I did call them back just after 5 but no answer. Hopefully it is not to withdraw the offer lol.

It was great to be out for the day yesterday with work and my colleague we gel really well and it was a great session we ran. I got 2 coffee on expenses and tostitie and she had forgotten her Costa Card so I got her stamp very happy days. I used the Octo offer and got my Greggs coffee and sausage roll cheaper too.

DG is still unwell but she has been paid from her new job for not doing a lot. As no tax is deducted it quite a bit so she can pay me back fro the March flights which helps me out. We just need one more to pay their hotel share and my credit card will not be as scary next month.

I have lots of work on today and I have to catch up with something I was doing on Monday. The call starts in 3 min so best crack on.

Reason invites have not arrived is because I did not put enough postage on so told friends not to pay the postage.

I am also off to the gym tonight for a lunch event it is 3 classes in a row.
