Watch those magazines via Tesco cc.  I used to get prima (I think it was) anyway if bought in a shop it came with patterns, if bought throught the deal you had to order the patterns separately which cost extra.  So just check you will get the seeds.
That is really bad just looked now and it says subscribers edition which usually include the seeds every month but obviously wont get the free gift etc. Actually have too many seeds but we shall see.

Packing done just need to buy some wipes to freshen up on the plane. I have never packed this far in advance but I will need to get organised for Spain when we are back as I only have the Saturday really to get sorted. DG is working again today so I was thinking of doing some myself but do not really feel like it.

I have changed the filters in the hottub and add chlorine plus cleaned the cover which was super rank so glad I got that done. I need to pay for the pool work it is £841 but I am waiting for the money to clear from the Monzo account so cant actually pay it yet. I do think I have too little ready cash for things like this still I can pay it tomorrow and he still has a bit more to do.

Had a lovely time in Denmark on my way back now. So lovely as my sister came over Weds morning so it was the thee of us until Fri when the rest of the family arrived. Dinner Friday on her actual birthday and lots of fun during the day.

Today was the party for lunch which I could only attend for an hour but still glad I got to go. Mum was pleased too.

Next time back is June then they are all over in Aug.

Saying in  Gatwick tonight then off on my golf trip tomorrow morning. Been fab but hectic I could so easily retire.

Also I won £100 on Premium Bonds. Also cancelled pet insurance for old cat. Too much and I can pay friend if needs too.

    Hope you’re all well

Afternoon had a brilliant time in Spain meeting newer ladies at the club and reconnecting with old friends. Well worth going and dog did enjoy it too. Golf was rubbish but now motivated to practise and play more.

Spending carrying on found a perfect Danish garden set while I was in the midlands and managed to order it online.  Expensive delivery £28 but it’s really nice so worth it.

Another spend was a sound bar. We had been planning on getting one but used one of the companies I test products with. Got £200 off but still cost £240. Dg is mad about tech and all you have to do is post a bit of video while opening it and also do a review.

Bought a dehumidifier in Lidl at £44 to go in our drying cupboard should hopefully stop the mould and maybe dry it quicker.

Final spend a new dress in Denmark £45 down from £110 but need to lose weight before it looks nice.

Really need to do better on the diet 1.7 kilo put on in the last two weeks not great.

Late lunch now then down to hit some golf balls.

Forgot to say I have finally invested the money in CMC invest. This is the one from Martin’s email where you invest £50 and get £50. This is what it looks like now:

Had an email from Wealthify another Martin offer where I invested £50 a year ago that the bonus is about to be paid out. They have a new offer refer a friend it’s £50 each but you need to invest £250 if anyone is interested. I plan to move over the Wealthify money to CMC invest to avoid having too.

Anyway going to watch some videos for work training also cleaned and refilled the hottub. Such a cold job at this time of year. Happy Sunday

So a bit of an expensive day £84 for dental hygienist but also unplanned house maintenance.

We have been having some problems with our front door for ages as moisture was coming in from outside and ruining the paint work. DG asked the builders across in our close to take a look and turns out it was a bit of a design defect and it needed a membrane fitting plus also some cladding under the porch type canopy we have. One of the team did not have any work on today so he jumped on the chance to do the work. Took a whole day so incl material £340 which I think is ok it was hard work and he did have lots of helps from the others. Now we need to let it dry and then get it painted problem is we know the name if the paint but not the brand so will have to get that checked out. The whole house is white apart from the hall which is Island Green.

Got up early to catch up on a course I am doing with work and now I am chilling before my 6pm meeting. Work is manic but I have been away for a month to that is not surprising.

Yesterday was £40 physio for my shoulder but all payments on track and might even have surplus as not actually spent that much.

Best get ready for my call, still no bonus from CMC and the Bose Sound bar was delivered with a continental plug the joys.

The garden furniture looks great and I can imagine you are very happy about your necklace.

The holiday looked amazing as well ;)
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks for popping in LadyWithAPlan much appreciated, I didn't date take my necklace on holiday for fear of losing it again.

Still not had the £50 from Wealthify will chase next week.

Finally got around to plugging in the Bose sound bar I bought as part of the Consumer Panel unfortunately the continental plug we had were not suitable. I have complained and they are aware of the issue but I want to start using it so I can write the review etc. Ordered a new one on Amazon coming today only £8 but still begrudge paying for it.

Itching to get in the garden got my Gardeners World magazine delivered incl the seeds so really want to crack on. I need oregano for my herb collection but helpfully that is next issues seeds. I will need to by climbing courgette seeds but have soil and some fertiliser to not so expensive to start up this year. Just wish it wasn't so cold and raining.

DG contact my EAP with work and got a list of resources as we have now admitted she really need counselling. I have said I will pay as she cannot afford it and it will actually be an investment for both of us. Still in two minds about going back to the doctors and try them again but so far undecided. She needs counselling for both grief and anxiety and it is medium to long term the assessment said.

Got a quiet day at work so might finally catch up with everything after my leave. Been a bit flat out the last few days but feels good to be back on track almost until more gets pilled on. We are in a very busy period and short staffed too due to long term sickness.
