Hi everyone - you all do so many great things to look after the pennies :)

    Today I have/will:-

    1. Turned off all the lights not needed
    2. No heating on until gone 5pm
    3. Filled up the liquid soap with cheaper foam bath (which I am convinced is the same thing but cheaper)
    4. Checked my DD's and SO's
    5. NSD
    6. Mistplay to work towards an Amazon voucher
    7. Topped up toilet roll holders in both bathrooms but squeezed them all to prevent teenage son using a whole roll at a time!!
    8. Walked dog for free exercise

Afternoon all,  yesterday didn't go to plan so most of yesterdays list became todays list!
    A few extras,

    * water from the hot water bottle emptied into the loo cistern
    * rm surveys
    * used spare labels from rm surveys to label up the xmas decorations boxes as I've put them in the loft to make it easier in December
    * sorted out medicine box and added a couple of bits to my shopping list that have been used up over xmas
    * getting back into eating to lose weight so smaller portions = money saving!

    Have a good day all.

Can't find my usual template....hmmm...perplexing. Bit short of time so this is a brief post:

    * Saved the leftover hot water from boiling the kettle in a flask to use in a hot water bottle later.

    * Put my work diary in a ziplock bag so it can't get wet and need replacing.

    * Saved the paper dunnage from someone else's Amazon order to stuff my wellies with.

    Afternoon all,

    Todays small things will include
    checking banking and updating spreadsheet
    all meals from stores
reinstating my kitchen use up box - going to go through the cupboards and gather together things that have been forgotten about or are getting close to date (or things we aren't keen on) and make something with them over the coming weeks to help declutter but also minimise waste.
    share bath water

    Back later

    Hi everyone,

Fuming today - moved house in Feb 2021 the day my energy company went bust. It was then a nightmare to get in touch with the company that took over to tell them my closing balance etc. By the time I got in touch with them it was 2 or 3 months later and they thought I was still accruing the bill... Explained the situation - all fine - and then today I get a debt recovery letter through! !!!!!!, I've got better things to do with my time than sort this !!!!!! out. 🙄
