They are this month for sure! I'm tempted to throw the nationwide bonus straight to the mortgage when it comes as well.

I haven't done a thing today! So tired. I might crack out the fan tonight to try and get some sleep.
DH took the kids to the park and to find a local waterfall that none of us have seen before. It was pretty dry so glad I didn't goBut at least I know where it is now.
My next door neighbour is spending a lot of time in his garden and keeps shouting over for me because he knows I sit just inside the french doors. It's nothing major, and he just wants to chat, but I find it really stressful as that place is my little sanctuary to get away from all the noise of the house, and also where I go when I don't want to talk to anyone. It's also where I work, so quite annoying when he distracts me (I can get away with ignoring his calls then though). I also don't want to go out in the garden when he's there, so feel I can't just potter around. There's trellis there, so he can see through. It's his fence, and he said recently he wanted to replace it with a 6ft panel. Hopefully he will soon! We've thought for a long time about putting new fence down that side as his is quite tatty, but we'd only do that if we could put it as additional on our side, as he's constantly in dispute with the neighbours at the back and on the other side over their fences!
Anyway that was just a moan, as I hate hiding in my own house! I will probably try and figure out a way to politely tell him to stop. I don't mind talking at the front, but I want the back to be private."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". "However, Britain’s biggest building society has indicated there may be cases where people who missed out but can show “very compelling” extenuating circumstances end up being declared eligible for a payout. A review process is under way, although the society suggested this would not be a large number of people."

So annoying about the neighbour. We have one of those to the side garden. I try not to get eye contact, but if dog sees him she’ll run over and that’s 15 mins of your life gone. It’s even worse for MrWW. If he pops out and doesn’t come back in for ages I know he’s been trapped 😁 Much better to have friendly neighbours and they really are lovely, I wouldn’t swap them, but it’s still hard when they are retired and have all the time in the world, but our time is limited. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
