I do actually make the payment every day. I have the account details and just send it over as a bank transfer. I had to phone up about something once and the adviser was quite bemused about the many small paymentsLisa1978 said:
Hi, can you please explain how this works. Do you save up the amount in January ie £141 and then pay the lump off your mortgage or do you pay say £2/£3 a day? I didn't realise that I could do this on my mortgage!jwil said:Today's PAD £6 (survey cashout )

I think each company and deal is different so it's worth checking with your mortgage company. It's also worth being mindful of any overpayment penalties as well - I'm nowhere near my annual allowance so it's not an issue at the moment, but as the balance reduces, I'll need to be more careful. At some point I will probably switch to putting the payment into savings and earning interest, but I'm not at the stage where I'm confident I won't dip into it yet, so I'll continue paying it to the mortgage for now. Hello everyone, we are back from a fabulous week exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area and Northumberland. It's been a great week, and we've had loads of fun. We've also spent a lot but it was worth it. I'm tackling the ginormous washing mountain at the moment and will probably try and take stock of the financials tomorrow.
One thing I will note, the efforts I made to make sure I left the house clean and tidy were so worth it. It was lovely coming in, unpacking, and not feeling like I have loads to do. The house feels relatively calm and tidy.

Washing mostly done now, and it's dry today so I can just chuck it out on the line and forget about it for a while. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
