Morning.....& thanks for your well wishes. I feel pretty much the same, which is what I was expecting. I've been quite busy this morning - have done my usual daily seedlings checks for this time of year & cleaned the entire house. I've also managed another 3 surveys. I've cashed out my March PA earnings at £34-77 today, as it's the last day of the month. The outstanding few quid for which I'm still waiting can start off my April earnings.
Mr F has to work later tonight due to someone in his team having an emergency, so we have had to change the meal plan to ensure we can get our meal eaten by the end of our TRE 'eating window' of 8pm. We must have gone through at least half a dozen complicated meal swap possibilities, as well as me taking over his cooking night, then we just looked at each other & both said in unison 'beans on toast'! So I've taken a spare half a home-baked sourdough loaf out of the freezer & that is a nice easy meal substitute. On toast in the only way I eat baked beans. Mr F will have them on jacket potatoes or with various meals, but I've never enjoyed them that way.
I've put this afternoon aside for some TV, rest & a hot water bottle on my crampy tummy. It ought to right itself given a week or two, but if not, I will have to make a Dr's appt, & expect I will end up being referred back to gynae clinic. Oh deepest joy.......I was getting prepared to be sent for a hysterectomy in 2017, but I knew my Dad didn't have long to live & was adamant I didn't want to be in hospital or unable to travel & do my share of all the arrangements, or even end up missing the funeral, which was 80 miles away, so I held off. Then I started to feel a lot better so on advice from a very thorough Dr at clinic, I was discharged from their books.
Anyway, I really don't want to fill up my diary complaining about my internal bits & pieces, so I'm going to tackle my email inbox, then set myself up for a nice restful afternoon. I shall look like 'Hot Water Bottle Woman' with two of the things on the go! Hopefully one of the cats will deign to provide furry hot water bottle services also. Maybe not Ash, he's had a telling-off this morning. I'd just done the kitchen floor when he came in from the rain & managed to walk muddy pawprints everywhere. I fetched the cleaning spray & a cloth to clear them up, went to chuck the cloth in the washer & by the time I got back (all of a minute), he'd managed to go another 3 laps of the kitchen floor. Grrrrr. The daft thing is that when we are 'between cats', I actually miss paw prints!
Ah well, that's me for today.
Take care,
F xx

Hope you are feeling a little better today. I like the fact that you are making some nice socks for yourself. I also tend to make for others, but found 2 pair of my hand knit socks when tidying yesterday. My small win was a making plum jam from a lot of plums in a L*dl fruit and veg box. The price of jam has rocketed. So was pleased to get 6 jars for the cost of a bag of sugar.6

Sorry to read that you are suffering and hope that the warmth, painkillers and rest are helping. Gynae problems are no fun at all 💐
It sounds like all your vegetables are coming along nicely. I’ve only just bought some aubergine seeds and am wondering if I am already too late and should save opening the packet for next year. I am always so impressed with the way you get socks knitted up quickly and it’s nice to see that you are going to be making some for yourself.3 -
Never tried making jam @marionmgcars, is it easy? I know you need a jam thermometer. Would love to give it a go, especially with the amount of blackberries we manage to forage every year.
Hope you're feeling better today FG. I see the weather forecast is looking sunny for the next few days, so hoping to start on some gardening. Although it says -1 overnight tomorrow & Sunday, so might need to cover things up a bit.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Hope you’re feeling a bit better today Mrs F. Fingers crossed it will right itself and you won’t have to go down the surgery route 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Maybe Ash thought they were helping with the cleaning of the floor 😂. When I hoover, my dog (who obviously has no concept of what cleaning is) thinks we are playing a game where I rush round the house with my toy which makes loud noises, so he does zoomies round the house and rolls around and generally seems to think it's brilliant 😂.
Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. I hope the uterus of doom eases up soon, and this is just a one off rather than the old problems coming back 🤗🤗🤗Live the good life where you have been planted.

Hi foxgloves hope you are starting to feel better. You still get so much done even when under the weather! I've been in pain these last few days too, the last couple of years have been particularly bad but no diagnosis yet. I've been waiting for an appt with the hospital for gynecology and it's only just come through...one year later! 🙃 Gah! Have you seen the wearable hot water bottles you can get?
Car-wise you have reminded me that we don't have a car pot. We've mostly improved in all other pot behaviour apart from this one and ours is almost 10 years old and over 100k on the clock so 🤔 I dare say we will need to pay some cash and get a loan for the next one. When we bought our first car we were absolutely taken for the (young and silly) mugs we were - paying well over the odds, not researching the loan or doing any comparisons, adding a warranty product to be paid over 5 years which we promptly forgot about and never used even when we could have claimed! Silly days indeed. We've not had a car payment since as people have a habit of driving into us, writing off our car and meaning we get a payout to buy the next one with! Could do without that happening again though thank you very much, my bones are older now.
Anyway hope you're back to par very soon.5
