Another handful of months and we should be right on the brink of energy bills falling thank goodness - hopefully that will enable a fair few folk to start building a bit of a cushion ahead of their winter use - not before time!
Jellytotts when we had HRH the cat we had awful issues ridding her of fleas a few times - and were told that there are some areas of the country where the flea population has become immune to the less "heavy duty" drops.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

@Cheery_Daff DH used some draughtsman table trestles and balanced the trestle that the toughened glass came in on top for my best staging. You could look on Faceache MP for trestles - there are often builders' trestles on thereSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Hoping that once we’ve moved we can switch to something less expensive.7 -
No FG, I don't have a coldframe, but maybe would be a good idea. There is so much I want to do since I discovered gardening and feel like this year I am missing out a bit as the weather has been a bit rubbish. Never mind, I'm sure it will improve and I can get on with it. Might even have a look at the sizes/prices of small covered little greenhouse things....you know, not the proper greenhouses. Maybe DH can make me one, he's clever like that....lol.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Oh, blooming energy bills. I honestly feel throwing some tea leaves in the air and studying the results would give about as good results in predicting the market for the rest of the year as anything else 🤷🏼♀️.
I'm another one @Jellytotts that has to get the heavy duty deflea meds from the vet. Frontline stopped working on them years ago. However, since my boy cat (who used to go on lots of adventures) passed on to greener pastures, my two girl cats (who are a bit more home based) don't seem to have caught fleas at all, so that's saving a hefty sum.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Now I've only got one cat, who seems to spend most of his time asleep on the back of the sofa, I'm using 4 fleas as they come in tablet form. I honestly couldn't cope with the outrage and misery that the back of the neck treatments appear to cause to HIs Royal Highness. He laps up the crushed tablet in his monthly cat soup treat and instead of hating me for torturing him he loves me for the cat soup treat.
my energy bill has gone down this month too despite a couple of horrific double figure days. I'm happy to still have about £200 of credit and I really hope to build that up again over the warmer months.8 -
I am monitoring oil prices here (heating oil, not barrels on the open market!) and it has dropped by a penny a litre every day this week to 60.53ppl today for 500 litres or 60.49ppl for 1000 litres. It was £0.989 last time I bought and I was pleased it was under £1! It always used to be cheapest in April and the prices above are for delivery on 31st March.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

@Blackcats - What does the cat soup treat consist of? Do you buy it already made or do you make our own? Always trying to find something that will make the cats happy.4
