Envious of your lovely sunny weather. We have had biblical rain and thunderstorms here both yesterday and today :#
Also envious of your bonny weather!  It's been torrential all day here in the western south-east - so much so that OH has been g00gle-ing plans for arks!  My WFH day involved sitting near our big backyard window instead of in the summer house - I think I will have to come to terms with summer being over even though autumn truly begins in just over 2 weeks!
Summer is alive and kicking in the East Midlands ☀️

Accepting that your lovely shoes are no longer practical is very hard. I broke my heart clearing out my lovely red court shoes but needs must. I just wish practical flat lace ups could be made to look a little more glamourous or at least have more exciting colours.

Sad that the boots have had their day but you’ve definitely had your money’s worth out of them. I had a similar pair of boots only cost me around £10 from Primani, so comfortable, got loads of compliments about them and they lasted for years but obviously not as many years as your DMs. Was sad to finally let them go, have never found any as good since.

Glad you’ve had a successful day bargain wise.

@ladyholly - Yes, I like dramatically coloured footwear instead of endless black. There are some lovely colours at Moshulu but our branch in town closed down barely a couple of years after opening, leaving me back in the annoying position of not being able to try their shoes on before buying.
@Sun_Addict - That was good longevity for Primarni, wasn't it? Important to have comfortable sturdy footwear with all the walking you do.
