Sending you warm greetings of the season @foxgloves. I shall be starting my diary next week and hope to take the inspiration from this diary forward into 2024. Not just the money saving (although my main purpose is to clear debt) but also the commitment to a sustainable lifestyle, waste reduction and not filling the coffers of big multi-nationals where you can avoid it. I am mentally committed to these things but my actions aren't quite following my thoughts so that is another focus. I know others have said it, but you are very inspirational - so thank you for the effort you put into keeping up this diary.

Yuletide Blessings to all at Foxgloves Manor (and to anyone else reading). I'm just contemplating how happy our cat will be that it's a roast chicken day tomorrow and then I thought of Soot......and all that extra food. Ours did magic tricks one year and made a bowl of frozen prawns disappear 🪄🔮
If you have insta take a look at the Loki show (lokidoestricks). Soot could learn a thing or two from that channel 🤣9 -
Sorry to hear about your back. My dad had a fall recently and me and OH both hurt our backs picking him up so I feel your pain.
on the plus side relieved to hear about the cornflour and that all will be well with the super duper gravy.
