I felt the same and ended up on the mortgage free diaries instead as I felt I had paid the debts off. I don't think it really matters and I am guessing people will follow where ever you go if you pop a link inMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I think that in order to clear debt and stay debt free it's essential to have people already demonstrating how they live in order to be able to save and pay for repairs etc as they arise. Your diary is an example of "best practice" in how to budget, cook and organise. It's sometimes easy to slip back into old ways so positive proof of what can be achieved with the right approach is important I think. I wouldn't be making sourdough pancakes if it wasn't for you and they are lovely, especially with blueberries (even more so with the YS blueberries which were a bargain).13

@foxgloves I think this diary is completely justified in being in 'debt free diaries' as you often talk about the spendy era, your lightbulb moment and how you became debt free. You now deal with the next very important stage, staying debt free. This diary shows people it still needs vigilance and that even micro changes make a difference.
Ultimately though you need to host your diary on the part of the site you feel is most appropriate. Just make sure you leave us a link so we can continue to follow you.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

@foxgloves - I love following your diary here. Several of us (including me) have been debt-free and then blown it again and are still trying and you have provided a lot of inspiration. We need you.10

@foxgloves your conscious thinking is coming out again! It's a huge part of what makes your diary so helpful ( or should that read addictive?) Post where you like but please don't leave us! My life, and I'm sure many others, would be so much poorer in every way without you. Becoming debt free and staying that way require totally different skills. You prove that both are possible and are an utter inspiration. Love Humdinger xx10

I think your experiences and lifestyle are very inspiring and give hope and constructive ideas to those hoping to get to debt free living. Your choice - but you’d be missed by many, I’m sure.January spends - £587.587

I echo the thoughts of other posters on your diary.
for those new on their debt busting journey you provide inspiration that not only can it be done but it can also be sustained.
for your established readers you give us hints and tips and fascinating insights into a fulfilling lifestyle that isn't driven by spending and wastefulness.

I agree. There are a few diaries I love to follow, but yours is my favourite. I feel I have learnt so much and its like reading a novel of a lovely lady, doing her gardening & kitchen wizardry. You give us all tips without even realising it. If I have a gardening or cooking query, I'm pretty sure you will have the answer. Every day, when it gets to about 4pm, if I'm not busy, I think I must make a cuppa & read your daily instalment. I wish you lived close to me, I'm sure we could be good friends and you could teach me so much. xMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I think the main reason for staying on the DFW board is that newbies are much more likely to read diaries that are on that board rather than on the 'Old Style' Your diary is an ongoing inspiration.
Please don't move it to where it's unlikely to be found by people who need it. XXXXI Believe.....

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
