Thanks all! Bass guitar practice and a LIDL seafood dinner with wholemeal spaghetti!  Rock'n'roll eh?

3/30 today and a temptation coming, an informal birthday do with musician friends at  a local lounge. I can avoid temptation by driving, of course, plus I don't want to ruin my 676-day (excluding Menorca) run of AFD's. And I can do this page a service by sampling alc' free drinks!
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!
  • Happy birthday RobM99! And at a mere 67 you’re still a pup compared to the (remaining) Stones & Beatles, Page & Plant etc not to mention bass-playin’ luminaries such as John Mcvie, Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones, Roger Waters, all of whom have a good few years on you.

Do you have a particular style to your bass playing, is there someone you try to emulate? And has it always been the bass or did you make the switch from lead or rhythm guitar to the bass? Sorry for the Q’s just interested!
