@Honey_Bear so sorry to hear about your dog. She sounds as though she has had a lovely life with you for the past four years and you can't give more than that xxx4

3/30 for me today please.
The Christmas decorations are packed away ready to go in the loft, and I've just finished off the last square of dark chocolate with cranberries. No more temptation in the houseWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?6 -
Thank you Cathy Bird. She's an incredibly sweet-natured dog despite the living hell she went through for her first five years (I'm not a fan of people who buy puppies because I know exactly where most of them come from). We've been seen by two vets at the new practice, and both of them have said something I've never known a vet say before. The most senior one said, 'Don't worry, she won't bite you' to a nurse as he asked her to hold Layla while he took a needle biopsy and the other one, the newest to the practice and probably the youngest, said he didn't think she would turn nasty if the pain became unmanagable. We originally only took her in because she had a persistent intermittent limp and it turns out the primary tumour is probably on the leg's nerve sheath, not something I've ever come across before.I had a long chat with the second vet when I went to pick up more pain relief for her this morning and I've now got about 5 weeks supply of a hefty drug and some others to boost it, after he consulted with the senior one who also happened to be in and available this morning. We don't expect to have her more than about three months but I dosed her up with her second dose today as soon as I got home and she's as happy as Larry now, and 'helped' with changing a superking bed - she adores feather pillows and duvets! She's now snoozing.Better is good enough.6

Good afternoon everyone,
HB I'm sorry about your darling fur baby. We were chosen by the most adorable rescue two years ago after losing our beloved 14 year old JRT. It's heartbreaking, but you know when they've had enough.
I'm glad that you've worked through your conundrum re drinking, and from what you've shared with us it's entirely understandable.
Best wishes to you, and pop in whenever it suits you.
3 please Cathy
