Sukeyboo, I thought of you yesterday, there was a short slot on bbc2 at around 1.30 pm on the (whoever is standing in for Jeremy Vine) show on the fostering programmes run by animal charities for Womens Aid.   One of my friends called me to say it was on and suggested I call in and point out the issues I had around leaving with 2 horses a cat and a dog.  The show was heart-breaking to listen to for me but it really did make the point that there is lots of help around for women who need it.  (I was lucky a friend with a farm rented me a converted office, two stables and a field - not everyone is blessed with such a great friend).

(I share snippets of my past simply to give hope to others that there are solutions out there even if it takes people time to find them and to find their own courage)
